This one fits for Windows 2003 and contains your HWID, so I used this oen instead, it should work for XP. Let me know if it's working since this is my first mass storage update.

I will have some time available..
chud, was file not found during 2000 or 2003server install?
first thing to try ar remedy is that you disable the skipifOS line. (if present in testpack... I have just started downloading)
It is present Jaak, I just removed it, I added the Promise driver too
Try this, _nightlies/DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_803.7z
(link killed by Jaak, we have a newer file)
Jaak: it was BSOD'ing on reboot with error of no mass storage with the win2k/2003 one, afraid I cannot do any more testing easily as the projects gone live and machines being imaged, i amusing my separate pack.
I have other users reporting that the 2000/2003 driver is not working for XP neither. I will add your driver and specifie it only for XP along with the existing one. It should fix the issue.
new mass is up for testing

@ chud
I added the Dell 7400 XP driver to 8015 in section [D1] and did a disc based win 2003 setup, and setup finished.
Now, for sysprep of XP on that type of machine you can remove D2 and L4.
D2 is server only
L4 is an older LSI reference driver for XP, and uses same system file names.
In a disc based setup, the tagname deals with that.
