Topic: nForce 5xx SATA RAID/Sil3132 Non-RAID SATA Drivers...Help Needed
(Note: Cross-posted on UBCD4Win forums)
I've used UBCD4Win for quite a while and I find it an invaluable tool, especially for backup/recovery with the Acronis True Image 10 BartPE plugin. However, since I upgraded my rig to a Athlon 64 X2 5000+ on a Biostar TF560 A2+ a couple of months ago, I haven't been able to get any of my UBCD4Win builds to work to my satisfaction. It seems that, no matter what I've tried, UBCD4Win v3.6 can't detect my nForce RAID0 array (2x74GB WD Raptors) or the non-RAID disks on that controller. I have my SATA DVD-RW drive on a Silicon Image Sil3132 PCIe controller (by itself) and while I don't think UBCD4Win is loading the drivers for that properly (it's not showing in Device Manager under UBCD4Win), UBCD4Win is seeing the DVD-RW drive and can access it fine.
I've tried all of these techniques to slipstream or add those drivers, all to no avail:
-leaving the DriverPacks Mass Storage Textmode Drivers plugin enabled (by itself)
-disabling the Mass Storage Textmode plugin and adding the latest WHQL drivers to drivers\SCSIAdapter
-slipstreaming the WHQL drivers into the Windows folder with *restricted project name, please email Ben for support* v1.4beta and disabling the DriverPacks Mass Storage Textmode plugin before building the UBCD4Win ISO
-slipstreaming the WHQL drivers into the Windows folder with DriverPacks BASE and disabling the DriverPacks Mass Storage Textmode plugin before building the UBCD4Win ISO

I've scoured these forums, the UBCD4Win forums, and other BartPE forums, along with Googling my brains out, but I've come up with nothing that has helped much. I can't imagine that I'm the only one who is having this problem, but from what I've seen, no one is posting them or a solution. If anyone knows a way to rectify these problems so I can see all my drives in UBCD4Win, I'd greatly appreciate it.
