Topic: Dell D630 Nvidia Quadro NVS 135M not installing properly

I am using driver pack Graphic A & B version 7.10 and Graphic C version 7.09.1  and can not seem to get this driver to install correctly. If I uninstall and use Dell's driver setup for the video card it works.

vendor id 10DE
device id  042B

I reinstalled XP again and noticed all I needed to do was click update driver in the device manager and it redetected the driver and installed properly..

Any ideas?

It is very common for dell to modify their chipsets sometimes it causes issues with reference drivers.

a generic match for this card is in the packs

PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_042B matches with \D\G\N\1 in the graphics pack.

frequently manufacturers will mod thier chips this is particularly true of laptops in general and large providers like dell.

if you can provide  alink to the driver that is correct for your system we will look at it and see if it can be included.

Sorry for my absence from the forum but I have been soooooo overwhelmed with work issues and home issues that I am unable to offer much of anything lately but that also gives everyone a break from my pestering for help smile ....anyway I only have 1 D630 with the Quadro so I have to try and recall what I did to get this to work but from a quick look I can see I am adding a RunOnceEx regsvr32 /s C:\WINDOWS\system32\nvcuvenc.dll and I also run the Knowles through RunOnceEx
