Topic: SIS 965L/182 on Fujitsu Siemens Esprimo E5600 BSOD
Hi,
i'm new here and in this driver world. Having trouble with SIS 965L or maybe it's is SIS 182 RAID controller. I've prepared cd and after txt portion of setup, reboot, Press F6, F2, bang! BSOD with 7B.
Having sucessfully installed 2 laptops with sata controllers and 2 pcs with ide controllers I'm unable to get this one installed.
As I mentioned the PC is Fujitsu Siemens ESPRIMO E5600, and on their site drivers' name is SIS 965L, I dont know if it's the same drivers as SIS 182 RAID Controller.
How to find out what is the right driver and how can I manually integrate this driver with my installation?
This is one of about 100 computers here that we would like to install using unattended cd with driverpacks.
Any help would be really appreciated.
P.S.
HWID says 182 RAID controller but I still get this BSOD with 7B.

Edit1:
Found out that without integrated Driverpacks(usual xpsp2 cd) It doesn't go to BSOD. Is there a conflict with drivers/HWIDs maybe? If it's so, how can I find that out and close that glitch?
Edit2:
I have rebuilded the xp with latest driverpacks and disabled the [SI-1], [SI-2], [SI-3] and [SI-4] sections in the masstorage ini file. That helped. There is definetly some conflict here.
Thanks.
One quiestion, is it possible to edit the 7z files after the slipstreaming process has ended. I f.ex I want to enable these SI-lines again without slipstreaming again?
Haven't anyone waken up yet?:)
