to fix this I use official driver from asus site web (they don't give direct link from page but you can ger it at asus.com)


PS:
you can add wifi wireless driver too ^^
for all installation I try with official driverspack and last nightlies from may and june (same result)

Which DriverPacks did you use?  If it was DriverPack Graphics A 906b2, then I need to know ASAP since I'm finalizing it tonight!

Looks like I need to make some additions to DriverPack Chipset to bring it up to date with DriverPack Graphics A. sad
The smbus.inf needs to be updated.  But I don't think that's causing your problem.

What DriverPack Chipset are you using?

Have you tried using the ATI default 9.3 drivers here?

i used chipset driver 9.02

i don't try driver that you post but official driver from asus and hp site web work very well

I wanna just add one thing,

I install more than 50 laptop this years with driverspacks, i use differente version, with intel card i don't have probleme, but with nvidia and ati card i don't have any succes, but with desktop card i don't have any problem...

I'd like to point out during my testing I haven't had any problems on desktop or laptops.  But without an affected system sitting in front of me for troubleshooting, it's like chasing ghosts in the dark.

I'd like to add that I also install win XP french version on most of my installation and that I have succes with 60% of nvidia and 90% of ati for the laptops.
For the desktop it's nearly 100% suicces.
Maybe I'm wrong but I don't think it's a question of language.

I know that Nvidia are tricky and I think you're doing a very nice job due to the hard part from their side.

I hope that help clarify the situation a little bit.

If I can be of any help, let me know.

I'm presently moving my computer shop and it's a lot of job let me tell you.

But once done I hope I will have more time for driverpacks.

Wanted to add my 2 cents to this thread since I now have something I can post about smile Yea me!

Working on an old Satelite A105-S2071 that my cousins dug up for my grandmother. This old thing uses an ATI RADEON XPRESS 200M Series internal graphics which it's having the same issue as abdou

I used all the latest nightlys except for the graphics A & B since they were just released.

So were the ones abdou reported.  But in the device manager you're getting a yellow exclamation point right?
I'd love to see the setup*.log files from those botched installs.  They're too big to post here, so just email them to me OK?

But when you use that, it takes you to the internal "email" that the forum provides which it doesn't allow you to attach any files. If you copy/paste the log into it, you're told that the message it too large to send - "Messages cannot be longer than 65535 characters (64 KB)."
