Topic: Where has M1 and M2 gone.

Hi guys. I am trying to make a drivers only disk.
I use ghost multicast to image. Its so much quicker.
The trouble is, when I run DPs_BASE.exe I get no
M1 or M2 screen. Also I cant select any of the driver packs.
The screen has any_any_any not wnt5_x86-32_disk.
I dont have optional settings or overview.
My platform is XP Pro SP2 Corporate.

Re: Where has M1 and M2 gone.

this happens when you select a source folder that is not a valid location.
Selecting a valid location is a prerequisite to displaying the correct options screens that follow.

IE you must select a folder that contains a valid I386 subfolder.

Re: Where has M1 and M2 gone.

Already read that.
I get the impression that I have to extract the drivers.
I was hoping to fit on a CD.

Re: Where has M1 and M2 gone.

OK.. the additional info helps me to help you (i quote Jaak)

select any valid source.

select m1 and all packs except textmode.

hit slipstream.

then use the contents of $OEM$\$1 to burn to your disk.

the rest of the above referenced post should be clear enough to get you there. If not jsut ask...

Welcome to DriverPacks we're glad your here!
