Hi, it has been a long time we saw big problems in LAN.
Can you please provide a base log, HWIDS txt, and what steps you took to build the build.
SP3 is fairly recent, and we want detail.
You are a long time member, and probably know nvidia drivers are difficult to make get along.
Help us help you, please.
I didn`t have base log after windows install. in disk "?"

Hello!
I confirm that i have the same problem as Ravennt.
I did a slipstream DVD of Win XP Pro with SP3.
After i mounted the driver pack with the latest beta base and the result is when installing Win, BSOD with the nvenetfd.sys.
I am a long time user of driver pack and it's a very new problem.
I know nvidia are tricky specially on mass storage but it's really the first time i have problem with Lan drivers.
I have tested this new driver pack build with an Asus A8N-E.
Sorry for my poor english...
Thanks for your very good work
Edit: I never had this problem with Win XP Pro Sp2 and the same driver pack setup.

It's the new guy on the packs team ;P
Can you please post your HWID too It really helps us - to know how to help you.
rather than making the volunteer doing the pack to have to look up the specs on your MB
(and the online description may be wrong) TIA (they may be psychos but they are not psychic)
No need to apologize for your english

It really does help us to help you... Thanks for posting it makes DriverPacks better for all...
I too am having BSOD crashes when installing DriverPacks on XP Pro SP3. Before coming to this forum, as a first visitor, I did some investigation of my own.
The problem is identified as NVENETFD.sys which normally installs as NVEFDXP.sys in C:\WINDOWS\System32\Drivers.
I am using an MSI MS-7125 board with NVIDIA nForce4 chipset. According to the nVidia website the latest drivers for nForce4/500 series are contained in their package v6.86. The version of NVENETFD.sys in this package is v1.0.3.5025 and my previous installation works OK with this.
I created an image of the failed installation, recovered the previous installation and mounted the failed one to discover which version was now being installed. The version of NVENETFD.sys installed by DP_LAN_wnt5_x86-32_8051.7z was found to be v1.0.1.6015. While other versions are available v1.0.3.5025 is not. The new version offered (DP_LAN_wnt5_x86-32_805D.7z) contains only the same version as the previous one.
I had a look at DP_LAN_wnt5_x86-32_7062.7z from last year and found the needed version in the D\L\NV\45_rest folder. I suspect the lack of the supposed correct version has something to do with the problem.
As the LAN pack from last year, for my purposes, is completely up-to-date I will now create another XP installation CD with this included instead of the most recent version and report back.
NV45_rest contained 6.86, and was recently renamed to NV4
Thanks.
I'll check the version we have in there.
Thanks.
I'll make a note in that folder that this is one we must NOT update.
We'll have a new testpack in a couple hours.
Thanks for your quick response.
I have now prepared and tested an installation with DP_LAN_wnt5_x86-32_7062.7z from last year and can confirm this appears to work flawlessly. Version 1.0.3.5025 of NVENETFD.sys is installed.
I'll look forward to a new testpack and give it a workout when available. Can it be assumed that all component parts of 6.86 will be updated? It was only the nVidia Networking Function Driver that was throwing up errors but is there a possibility of other files being with the wrong versions?
Could I take the opportunity of thanking the team for all the hard work they do on our behalf. This is infrequently used software in my case but I have found it and nLite to be invaluable.
http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic. … 670#p20670
Thanks for making available DP_LAN_wnt5_x86-32_805E.7z. It looks OK when expanded but I'll test it on a real installation tomorrow.
For your information here is the content of my HWIDS file, although I guess it is not needed now. As far as I can tell a DPsFnshr.log was not generated in the failed installation.

Thanks Jaak for your input. I can confirm LAN pack 805E has solved the problem we were having with the BSOD. Sorry for the delay in getting it tested and getting back to you with the result. Sorry this post now appears on all three related threads.
Kind regards, rmgalley.
Yes, I also confirm that the problem is gone with the Win XP + SP3 and the Nvidia lan. Lan Pack 805E
You do a very good job and now, I think, I understand the way you want us to feed you with the information on a specific problem. So I'll do my best in future, I promise.
Thanks to all of you at DriverPacks.
