Topic: [FIXED] Soundmax for (some) IBM desktops missing?

Dev: 1981
Subsys: 101402F9

Is the driver for this device missing? It did not install on the 15 IBM desktops I reinstalled earlier in the week.
I had to manually install it, which for 15 computers is not fun.

Edit: I have both Sound A and Sound B installed, and the HDAudio update is installed.

Hi,

which driver did you use?
A download link would be useful.

I wanted to also tell you you could have added the driver to graphics B, repack the driverpack, and test it.
If that worked, you'd have learned something, and you'd normally let us know what driver you added, and that it worked.

The answer was 42?

I have those covered in my modified sound b package. I just verified. Can I send my modified version to any of the developper ?

you could just as well email only the zipped up driver folder to a team member.
jtdoom uses gmail
