so other anything other than that it would be easy wink

DP_3P-PackName_x86-32_Version.7z  is a good idea

Good idea OverFlow, does make sense to be able to distinguish between main DriverPacks and 3rd Party Packs especially like myself you keep practically all DriverPacks in 1 folder.

Thanks for your eloquently crafted response to the said ignorant 'child' Gollum.

I use a saying that goes like this: You can't make anything foolproof cause fools are so ingenious!

Just tested 809C on Live system and now getting no hard drives found during textmode.  All worked ok with 806F.

I have 6 S-SATA HDD all in IDE mode as I don't use raid.  I always start from a fresh install and call the base from RVMi.

Another vote for leaving it out

can I also add my interest for X64 drivers

did the control panel of choice install itself properly?

The control panel got installed but as I never set the option I got prompted to decide if I wanted the Basic or Advanced when starting the control panel from both Control Panel and right clicking the desktop.

As I'm not a games player nor do I change any settings as these are set via my WINNT.SIF I don't really bother much with the CP.

If I were to set which CP I want to use where is the setting so that I can test again for you.  Will be doing another full install later today got nothing better to do today..

Can report no problems with my GeForce 8600GT

Can you please add the Netgear WPN wireless adapter drivers to the WLAN pack.  I can confirm that both the WPN111 (USB Adapter) and WPN311 (PCI Adapater) install without any conflicts.  Unable to check the WPN511 (PC Card Adapter) as I don't have access to a laptop with PCMICA slot.

I have already extracted and put the drivers into the appropriate folders

You can do that as well.  It would be quicker.  I don't have that option when I click on File after selecting a file.

Echo_Platoon if you just select the file and press CTRL C (copy) and then CTRL V (paste) this will create a copy in the same folder prefixed with Copy of <filename>.  Then all you need to do is rename the copy to what you want.

Muiz, the atheros driver was already in the folder that I extracted to get the drivers for wpn311 v2.0.  I have uploaded the entire folder for you to look at yourself.

Netgear_WPN311_v2.0.7z

Here you go I have zipped them up to D\W\N\F\1 and 2
Netgear_WPN311.7z

I've uploaded them to DivShare as I hate using Rapidshare that ok for you muiz, if not can email them as they're only 614k

Had this problem myself using SCS 3.1.6 with vdefs from 30/05.  reporting that DP_Base was infected with MSN.Flooder it also reported the same with all the AutoIT exe files that I use.  But I did notice that Symantec threw a quick update to those vdefs and looks like they've got rid of the false positive.

Bash here's the link to Zacams post at RyanVM's site Zacam System Patches

BigBrit and Rado, you can create an silent installer for K-Lite Mega using the -makeunattended switch and you can deselect Media Player Classic from the options.

Have to applaud Rado for all the work he has put into making these addons.

On a side note if anybody is interested rado also keeps this list updated on RyanVM site.

Bash, want to donte towards the VPS but due to problems with PayPal I'm unable to use this method any more.  Any chance of an email or PM so I can get the left over euros I have forwarded to you.

Thanks

Bash
Just done a fresh install using the all the latest driverpacks and device mangler is showing my CPU as an unkown device.  When trying to update the driver I am presented with 2 copies of the AMD8 driver and neither will update.

I have checked the file hashes with the driver from 608 and they're identical.  I can only assume it's down to the AMDAway driver that you have included in 609
