Topic: GUI mode resolution after installing video card drivers

I'm having a little problem with my unattended XP installation, it goes by this:
     When I run my unattended installation on a virtual machine like VMWare,... the whole installation goes on 1024*768*32. But when I install it on my desktop with my drivers added, the resolution reverts back to 800*600*16 directly after the installation of the video driver.

I have used Zacam's patch to change the resolution to 1024 x 768 and the driver packs (version 7.04).
Can someoane help me?pls... sad

That's odd.  I also use Zacam's patches and they work flawlessly for me in both VPC and real HW.  Have you tried the latest version?  It was updated last month.

Like I posted in the above link, I only ran into this issue under VPC.  Real HW works fine for me.

This happens quite a bit with method 2 - the drivers are not available early enough in the setup. and teh driver itself resets the screen rez. when it installs
