Yes, it would be ok if not one thing. Originals files are not present! There are no adpu160m.sy_, ALIIDE.sy_ etc just these *.org

Got this error during Windows XP text mode setup.
On the I386 found these "strange" files:
adpu160m.org
ALIIDE.org
dac2w2k.org
dac960nt.org
dpti2o.org
mraid35x.org
ql12160.org
ultra.org
I think they may have extension like sy_ or smth smile

test system: VMWARE
Windows XP SP2
RyanVM Update Pack 2.1.6
DriverPacks BASE 7.01.2
DP MassStorage 7.01
and other very last DP packs smile

is it possible to ban bot like this one ?

Looks like the site is down. Look at this: http://picasaweb.google.com/laura456852

it is immposible (to post DPsFnshr.log) because i do not have that buggy laptop anymore and did not make a copy of log file wink
i vote for closing this topic wink

I think there is problem with windows installation. Your script adding deleting action to HKLM. But it running before user logon. And then user is logged on and roe.exe is completed (rd /q /s c:\d is added to HKLM smile) the runonce is running (not on the second boot, just after roe.exe and logon on to the system). So i think some files still locked and C:\D stay in its place smile

The Notebook ASUS A6Rp
drivers for vga:
http://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/A6R … 060526.zip or ftp://dlsvr03.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/A6Rp … 060526.zip or ftp://dlsvr02.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/A6Rp … 060526.zip

i had asus notebook with ATI 200M and the latest DP could not help to find proper driver. Or maybe problem was in Control Panel (drivers on CD work with Control Panel), when in DPs_BASE.ini was marked ATI_cpl = "CCC".

Ah you must restart pc for deleting the folder smile

yeah but this thing had to be done after restart (in log i find some records about deleting DP catalog after restart, but after that catalog 'D' was in its original place)
imho problem is - i login into system with different name than the system was installed wink

How could i understand deleting of the folder 'C:\D' on the next restart is put on the HKCU. Is it possible to put this record on the HKLM ? smile

could be find on some asus notebook models

Problem: DPsFnshr hangs on cleanup.
Reason: from log

Cannot delete the file 'C:\D\B\A2\attmusb.cat'. The file is probably still in use by one of the executed commands. Waiting five seconds until retry.

maybe your antivirus blocking access to cmdow.exe (some antiviruses detecting threat in there, but they are wrong smile ). In this case you need to add cmdow.exe to antivirus trusted applications list. In other cases you need to make the search on this forum because i think i saw discussion about similar problems wink

check your ram with memtest (http://www.memtest.org/)
did you make defragmentation ? ( @command prompt "defrag -f c:" smile or you could try some third part's software of defragmentation)
