Got this error during Windows XP text mode setup.
On the I386 found these "strange" files:
adpu160m.org
ALIIDE.org
dac2w2k.org
dac960nt.org
dpti2o.org
mraid35x.org
ql12160.org
ultra.org
I think they may have extension like sy_ or smth 
test system: VMWARE
Windows XP SP2
RyanVM Update Pack 2.1.6
DriverPacks BASE 7.01.2
DP MassStorage 7.01
and other very last DP packs
Those are the backup files made by the base.
Yes, it would be ok if not one thing. Originals files are not present! There are no adpu160m.sy_, ALIIDE.sy_ etc just these *.org
I tried to reproduce the error, but all seems fine here.
Any one else has this problem?

First of all - THANK YOU ALL for the great work - very helpful! Its really appreciated!!!!
I have just taken factory pressed CD "Windows 2003 Web edition SP1" into driverpacks and used all the latest packs & base (downloaded 20 mins ago).
I see the same errors as reported above (*.org files present but not the *.sy_ )
I renamed the files with a "sy_" extension and the install went a bit further....
Next error I found was "ql2100.sys" missing (fixed this by copying "ql2100.sy_ " into x386 folder from original CD)
Next error I found was "ql2200.sys" missing (fixed this by copying "ql2200.sy_ " into x386 folder from original CD)
Next error I found was "ql2300.sys" missing (fixed this by copying "ql2300.sy_ " into x386 folder from original CD)
Next error I found was "ipsraidn.sys" missing...
I have stopped trying to fix now as I suspect the errors are all related and the fix is easier than my current method

I don't know if this will help but....
I have a folder in the driverpack "working directory" called "F:\DP1\QSC\wnt5_x86-32_uni_DP_MassStorage_7011_textmode" which seems to contain all the files I mentioned (and more)..
I copied all of them into the finished i386 folder and built the iso again.
I've just installed the disc and it went flawlessly....
No errors or file missing messages.
Did I do something wrong?

This was a bug in one of the early 7.01.x versions of the BASE, it's all working again now.
