That is a lot of data to copy for no reason.
One of our users once demonstrated that a copy and extract was faster on a ODD. I don't think the same is true for a thumb drive.

I'm also trying different ways. If I success I'll add it to this topics. Thanks  OverFlow.

Thanks TechDud and OverFlow. My problem is solved. I just moved OEM folder to my $OEM$\$1\.

I've created XP Professional 32bit CD with DriverPack Chipset, DriverPack Mass Storage and it works fine.

Recently I created a Multiboot USB and I moved all of my XP files to XPCD folder.  I edited XP files source path in setupldr.bin and txtsetup.sif. So my XP install successfully with all of my settings and software. But my added drivers are not being copying to Harddisk. So setup shows following massage. My all drivers are present in XPCD folder.

My OEM folder including drivers is in the XPCD folder. How to fix my problem?

You are really great. I'm very pleased with your help and helpful advices. I'm absolutely dependent on this site for drivers.

Thanks a lot and hope your help always. With the best compliment.

I never used RVMi but I got nlite very nice. But your advices are very helpful to me and I'll follow you.
Sorry to disturb you a bit more.

I faced problem with my AIO Driver CD for Sound and VGA in some PC. For example, VIA HD Audio driver and VGA ( May be 3/4 PC). I used version 11.04. Can update version packs help me? This AIO CD helped me very much. Thanks.

Very nice. It worked. Thanks TechDud.
How can I update this driverpacks in my already made XP CD?

Thanks TechDud. You are really great.

TechDud wrote:

One might dispense with the D-P-M-S option in the Advanced menu of WinSetupFromUSB if DriverPacks are already integrated.

There is D-P-M-S.ISO file already placed in WinSetupFromUSB 1_0_beta8\files\D-P-M-S folder and it's size 46MB. Should I replace with your new one (Chenall's_DPMS_1304211.7z)

TechDud wrote:

Have you seen either HWID on any of those other machines you previously mentioned, Kamrul08?

Actually I didn't research and notice HWID in my previous machines. Because those machines worked fine. Even I used chipset 11.11 and Mass Storage driver packs 11.04. I also integrated sound A,B (Ver_11.08), graphics (Ver_11.07), lan, cpu in my DVD. All worked fine. In some PC I face sound problem and it was VIA HD driver. MY XP was SP3.

I'll apply your driver packs soon and inform you here.

TechDud wrote:

I will provide a test pack soon.  Thank you for your patience.

OK TechDud. Thanks.

I used clean source of XP CD and Drive packs every times. I passed two days fully with this machine following your advices. Thanks for Floppy drivers but no way for USB floppy drive.

OK TechDud. Let the post finish. I hope you will add the matter in your next driver Packs update. I'll try next update version. I'm very grateful to you and this forum. Thanks a lot.

I didn't get any warning. I couldn't find any driver version any where. This model is very rare in online. Even I couldn't find this model in Sony site. I found a link in Chinese language. Here is Google Translated link. This machine is bought from Singapore and it's my friend PC.

Thanks TechDud for help. I've give up XP in this PC. So let the post finish. Thanks again for your helpful advices. I love this site very much for driver.

This machine has three USB 2.0 Ports and one USB 3.0 Port. I only connect charger to this machine during setup and use USB 2.0 port. It's BIOS is very simple and nothing to edit without date & time, BIOS password, booting order of devices and Default Changes. I don't dare update BIOS.

As your instructions, I tried with USB using "WinSetupFromUSB Ver.0-2-3 and 1beta8". I used DP_Chipset11.11 and DP_MassStorage11.11, DP_Chipset12.09 and DP_MassStorage12.09, DP_Chipset_wnt5_x86-32_1209.7z and DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1304r2.7z. I tried both disabled and enabled "QSC Cache". My CD and USB give me same result.

1. DP_Chipset11.11 and DP_MassStorage11.11 shows BSOD.
2. Another two version cause shutting down PC suddenly.

I didn't use DriverPack MassStorage.iso. Because I don't know how to use it.

Thanks TechDud for your great instructions.
I followed your advices and tried again but still same problem (suddenly shutting down appearing HDD drives). I didn't face this problem before. I used previous version of Chipset and Mass Storage in my previous CD and used in HP, Dell, Acer, Toshiba, Compaq brand without problem. I added two screen shots about driver integration.

Adding Mass Storage,

disabled QSC Cache

I tried with DP_Chipset_wnt5_x86-32_1209.7z and DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1304r2.7z. I disabled "QSC Cache". So QSC folder is not created and nothing found as QSC Cache. I don’t know how to use MassStorage.iso. So I’m not trying USB. On the other hand I’ve CD-RW and no problem with CD.
My PC is running windows 7 now and I ran SaveHwids.exe in win7. My HWID's.

Sorry for late.
I tried disable "QSC Cache" option during adding Mass Storage with DPs_BASE. Now no blue screen but PC shutdown fully appearing HDD drives a while. I tried with Chipset and without Chipset.
My machine is SVE14125YCW

Thanks OverFlow & TechDud. I'll apply your instructions and write feedback.

OverFlow wrote:

try a different version of mass storage... either older or the release candidate that is floating around in the mass storage forum. *you are here

Thanks OverFlow. I used Mass Storage Pack 11.04. I think Mass Storage drivers are not working here. Because Mass Storage works after second session of XP installation. But this problem shows before second session (just before C drive). Blue screen appears during the installation detecting HDD. I think XP is not getting proper drivers. My HDD is OK. Win 7 installation works fine. I tried resizing, Splitting my C drive also.

I’ve added Mass Storage driver pack in my XP CD successfully following this post and I used it in many laptops (HP, Dell, Acer, Toshiba, Compaq) without any problems. But Sony VAIO Laptop shows blue screen immediately before F8= I agree page. It’s BIOS is very simple and nothing to configure HDD for AHCI. Any suggestion please?

The instructions are in the first post of the SAD2 thread and in the "readme.txt" included in the download.
The hotfix is KB888111 but there's no reason not to use SP3.

Thanks mr_smartepants. KB888111 fixed my problem. I used this hot fixed about 1 year ago for same problem. Microsoft advised me to used this.

Thanks again for helpful advices.

mr_smartepants wrote:

You must update to SP3.
SP3 contains a hotfix that allows ALL HDaudio devices to be detected correctly.  They will fail otherwise.

At last I guessed it. Because I faced same problem before in XP SP2. Then Microsoft gave a hotfix and it helped me. I'll try this.

Could you tell me please how to use SAD2 utility in AIO Driver CD.

Thanks  TechDud and mr_smartepants.

Sorry to disturb you TechDud. I can't understand what is the deference between my AIO Driver CD and my Customize XP CD. I added same drivers in XP CD (following this post). This CD works very fine. My AIO Driver CD also works fine but Sound Driver. My AIO Driver CD Screen shot below. I just run DPINST and it finish all the works. (My OS is XP professional SP2)

Hello & Welcome to the DriverPacks Forum.  Namaste!  (Sat Sri Akal!).

When you say that the sound is not working, does this mean that no driver exists is DP_sound_A or B, or is the wrong driver installed resulting in a Yellow Bang! in Device Manager (under Sound, Video & Game Controllers)?

Please post your HWid's & DP logs.  If you can visibly see the audio chip, please post the markings upon it?

Thanks TechDud for quick reply. My DP_sound_A or B packs are full with driver. After running my Stand Alone Drivers CD Device Manager shows some sound drivers installed. Device Manager also shows a Unknown driver with red color and it cause no sound in my PC. I used this Stand Alone Drivers CD in 3 PC. 1 is OK and other 2 show sound problem. But in same PC my XPCD with drivers (created by DPs_BASE) works fine. I used this XPCD in Dell, Asus, HP, Acer Laptop also.

How can I get HWid's & DP logs? Thanks again.

I made a Stand Alone Drivers CD according this post. All drivers work fine. But sound driver is not working. When I add the drivers in XPCD it works without no problems. What's the problem? I added all the drivers packs in including Sound A, Sound B.
