Did you guys have a chance to test the new version out?

Exactly as Overflow said... you should filter out by vendor id or folder. Get an idea of what machines you may be imaging to and do only those drivers.

How to I download anything? I went to Simple CDN and and found no link to download - just comments about how great they are.

LOL

All DriverPacks are available from links on our home page here at DriverPacks http://driverpacks.net/driverpacks

But the easiest way to do it is just to use the update checker page in DriverPacks BASE wink.

That is a quote for the books Jeff. Perhaps a FAQ question tongue

mmmm caffeine, nectar of the old gods. Of course they ate the beans straight from the shoot. They had a stronger palate.

The good stuff has water? I just dry it out and sniff the yeast directly.

Awesome work dude! This is a huge undertaking!

lol... bah you still run on water!? I run on maple syrup (grade B) and agave nectar!

v3.2L is out, hopefully it fixes the problems you were having erik...

https://sourceforge.net/projects/driver … e/download

erik, were you able to get samples of what doesn't work? I'm finding the same thing on my end. Something got screwed up smile

I didn't lie to you Overflow. If you had put it as simply as Helmi did, you'd have saved us both a lot of time and space. Each time we cross-posted, I was trying DriverPacks in a different configration to try to achieve the desired end result...And could you remove that stupid "I can't follow directions and I will lie about what I did" quote from my posts that you had added.

You do realize that in a court of law that wouldn't fly. Just because the person didn't relinquish the information asked for and then later does makes it even worse. It's as good as lying.

Sounds good Erik. Just let me know what you find.

Smartepants, if you could post examples and what pack/driver that would help me in resolving this for you.

btw, what's your real name? I feel silly calling you smartepants lol... if you don't mind that is.

btw: thx for this great tool

I'm going to write into the code to not crash when something like this happens.

Anyone find issues or want something added to the functionality?

hehe... hmmm... I trial it out I suppose. I run through some tests and see what happens.

You can check out boot-land.net for the guides on how to do this. It's not too hard to do and they've been doing it for a long time now. There's even a new tool that will make it so that many more motherboards will see the USB drive.

Hey guys, just curious why we don't keep the MassStorage txtsetup.oem?

I would find it helpful for when I need to only do a couple drivers and want to add them manually to an installation. Would it be possible to either keep them, they are small, or create a secondary compressed file that I can merge with the MassStorage 7z files?

Awww you guys are gonna make me *blush*

Ended up installing the drivers from with the modded INF

http://www.laptopvideo2go.com/drivers/xp/78.70

A, B packs are v9.06
C v8.12

Found some of the HWID's in the files but they aren't installing, however, I don't think it's the issue.

C:\D\G\Sa\sisagp.inf - PCI\VEN_1039&DEV_0002
C:\D\G\Sa\sisuagp.inf - PCI\VEN_1039&DEV_0002
C:\D\G\Sb\sisuagp.inf - PCI\VEN_1039&DEV_0002

This is the graphics card

I'm at a loss because a google search tells me it's an nVidia card, a NV4 chipset of some sort. I'm downloading Foreware v93.71 to see if that installs for me.

*EDIT* Nope that didn't work. I found out it's a NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420 Go.

It's most likely not the mup.sys that's the problem but the driver that loads after it. So it's going to be kinda hard to pinpoint which driver it is exactly. But if you only do one pack at a time you can pinpoint it a little easier.

Mup.sys is usually video driver related. I'd kill off the drivers for the video for now.

Just thought I'd throw it out there with another great project that isn't supporting x64
