The SoundMax ADI driver download contains the latest audio drivers and utilities for the SoundMax ADI Audio AC97 series chips on HP/Compaq motherboards. It will install version 5.12.1.3620 of the driver onto your system and can be used to update an existing driver or as a new installation.

To set up the driver, download and run the file to extract the contents to a new folder (the default location is C:\swsetup\SP27103, but you can change this option if you want). After agreeing to the license and specifiying the folder location, the Soundmax driver and software will be installed. Once completed, you can delete the contents of the temporary folder (C:\swsetup\SP27103 - this may be different if you chose a different directory during the installation). To ensure that the sound driver is properly installed, you should restart your computer.

The Soundmax driver package and can be used only with the following PCs:

* 1 Determine the manufacturer and model of your hardware, usually listed on the sticker on the hardware, on the hardware box or on the owner's manual. Common hardware manufacturers that make accessories for computers running WIndows 7 are many, but include Microsoft, Logitech, Lexmark and Epson.
         
* 2 Visit the manufacturer's website. Look for a link that says "Customer Service," "Drivers" or "Downloads". Look for the correct driver for ythe exact model of your product and download the driver.
         
* 3 Visit your computer manufacturer's website for drivers for manufacturer components in your computer. For internal hardware that came already installed in a new computer, the computer manufacturer often has special drivers specifically made to use on Windows 7 on your computer.

Click your "Start" menu and click "Control Panel."

Click "Hardware and Sound" and click "Bluetooth Devices." If you don't see "Hardware and Sound," scroll down to "Bluetooth Devices" and click the icon.

Click the "Add" icon as soon as you see it. The "Add Bluetooth Device" wizard searches for any Bluetooth device within range of the Bluetooth receiver and allows you to configure the device for your computer.
