Hi
welcome to driverpacks net

can you please run save_hwids on a machine that has this sound chip?
This tool is found in Bâshrat the Sneaky signature

please post its log.

Sherlock will have to go to Watson mode... and prepare a win2k for testing..

I recently DriverPacks-streamed 2003 servers editions, and will look at those, but I have not ever done a Win2k so this will take me a while. (I hope I find back the original Disc.)

hi
just delete the QSC (aka quick tream cache)

when you edit the INI, and use base again, it will then undo changes it had done, then restream the  source, and with the edited pack (edited ini), the process "fedits" the files for you.

edit.. >>
actually, I would use a new copy of clean sorce, put pack with edited ini in driverpacks folder, wipe QSC, and let base stream the drivers.

in case it throws an error.... then when you report here, please include info on error.

and if it works OK, we must know it too, for it will then be put in a future pack (to be published ASAP)

the internal one, booted when set to IDE.
the e-sata here, sorry, I have no fitting connector. (not gonna buy an enclosure just for that...)

both VGA devices, vendor ID and main type, is found, but SUBSYS is not found in packs

what brand are these computers? and what models are these?
Can you please show us links to support pages for driver downloads?

please run SAVE_HWIDS on these machines, and post result?

use link in Bâshrat the Sneaky signature

hi
googled, this VEN_1039&DEV_7013 turned up hits for modem.

and it is apperently supported in smserial.inf
D\3\M\M\1

so, Leecher.ex can rebuild, and add 3rd party modem pack, and test again
This will most likely solve issue.

hi

VEN_1039&DEV_7013 is not found when I do TXT search in chipset packs.

it would help if leecher can show us a link to the drivers for that machine

Hi
are these all identical machines then?
you can run hwids on the machine (tool in Bâshrat the Sneaky signature), and post the result.

because you two can test this on hardware that needs this, here goes.
it is on rapidshare.

http://rapidshare.com/files/17391613/DP … LY.7z.html

I must ask to please let us know if it worked, so that this can be implemented in a future pack...

oops , wrong link... fixed

hi
the one that is in testing, that is another one... (unichrome)

your hwid PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3230 is not yet in the packs. I saw that core driver files differed in number and names..
I'll add them to < Graphics_B in new folder D\G\V\8 >

the previously added one in testing is PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_3343 and located in Graphics_B in  D\G\V\7

hi
you mean that you still see the D folder after restart?

Can you please post DpsFnshr.log (found in windows folder on the machine you ran setuup on)

follow up
host is vista ultimate
dps_base streamed a XP pro, (this is on a CLEAN COPY, NO OTHER programs were used on it..)
no error seen during streaming driverpacks.
(method 2, all released packs, txtmode, KTD all, defaults... )

I must still burn. Will run setup on other testrig tomorrow, after work.

hi, we are..
I wanted to try find out how come finisher did not run, and first thing i had to ask is about the sif.

vista is on, I gotta transfer some folders to that rig.
I want to see wether I can reproduce the error antonio got, is all.

Vista setup finally running here (had to unpunk that machine some..)
See you later.

can you post content of winnt.sif?
if there is a key, XXXXX it out (and passwords, etc, too)

OH, first doubleclick DSPdsblr, then finisher

oh,
I just read mail..
it appears dpsfnsher exe did not run

lets be adventurous, and doubleclick it in that one..
I'll try figure out if Vista as host platform caused this. (will take a few hours, tho..)

hi
I've been kept too busy so gid not yet put Vista on a rig.

another possible cause I thought about, what if Winnt.sif was replaced by sif file user put in after slipstream...

the D folder and DPsFnshr.exe ought to still be on that drive setup was ran on, then.

this is one i would say no to
no, it is not in the packs,
no, I would not put it in the packs

HP installation can be a bear, some have to be connected and run before the driver installs, other need to have the driver setup running, and half way, it says to connect and power up the HP.

this one is like it runs drivers, then asks to power it up
a 340 mega, sorry..
I would say no.

if we collect just the drivers from that installer, you will miss programs that came along in that file..
you can put the downloaded file on the dvd, and run it afterward.

Hi
Ever since I joined here, I took advantage of machines I had to repair or put together for folks.
If time permitted, I'd hook up a drive or an array, and let a build run its course.
For personal use, it was pure luck I bought some that had chips in which still baffle us.
"Pure luck" or "guided" luck, because the last box I bought, I had read it had jmicron in it.
(the box was intended for sale, but the people whom had me look for a cheap solution, wanted a still cheaper used one, which is not yet freed up.)
That box also happened to have a not yet supported graphics chip, and I spent some time at updating graphics B.. (which tested good here, and I put it up for testing.)

So, in a sense, I try to run as many live tests as possible.
I'll try different modes for mass storage. (with single drives and arrays.)

VPC does have its uses, tho.
