hi
I looked at my backups and found a chipset 702 nightly

I will upload it to OLD, just in case you want this.

hi
this download has a txtsetup folder
XPX86.OEM lists
id = "PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_7353&CC_0104","viamraid"

and
VIAMRAID.INF has this one commented out
;%PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_7353.DeviceDesc% = viamraid , PCI\VEN_1106&DEV_7353&CC_0104

now, which one is right, huh?

EDIT: the JMicron RAID controller is not listed in my hardware manager...

Hi,
we had 7058 up in testing area, and cirederf told me this got adressed by adding the JMIDE drivers to mass storage testpack 7058.

I am not saying we won't see JMicron problems in the future, but at least some of them got solved.

hi
did not find a page with link for camera, but the FTP should have it
ftp://ftp.vaio-link.com/PUB/Vaio/Camera/

and for the memorystick, this one MIGHT work

Hi Stefan
test this, PLEASE, and report back?

it got implemented, changelog will be updated with new release

If I do an INF edit, I can fix the missing files easy.
(already done it to \3 and \5 , matter of fact)

But, I will try for the best solution.
I found new version for 3c2000 (the files have different names)
I found old version for 3c2000 wich explicitly told me this is a rebadged marvel-yukon.
AND, the request for latest marvel-yukon might also cover this one (I have to look at HWIDS in all these files)

update/edit
found an ISO for all 3c2000 products, and hope to find the missing files in it.

I am trying to find the original driver, but so far, no luck.

yep, it was in 70414 and is in 70415, so it is implemented

update will be done
Marvell Yukon Ethernet Controller 11/02/2006, 8.61.2.3 to 01/09/2007, 10.0.4.3

Hi
known solutions are;
Do not use a download manager.
Adjust privacy options in your browser so that cookie referral works for driverpacks.net.
Adjust privacy options in your securty suite and malware blocking tools so that cookie referral is allowed for driverpacks.net.

while you have lower privacy settings in the browser, you can restrict yourself to only DriverPacks, and when done, set it back to the level it was on. FAIK, the defaults in IE are good for our downloads.
Security suite settings and malware tools settings are stored.

hi
no problem with that here..
My way is to download to a new folder, and then I open that folder.
Save_hwids.exe then has to be extracted (it is Self-extracting file).
that's one doubleclick.
Then you find save_hwids.cmd, and that will run by a doubleclick as well.
Its output is then found as hwids.txt, wich you can use to post info here.

hi
a quick note
methinks your addition to grafics C 704mod can be slimmed down.
To do that, you'll probably need extra guidance and information on how to uncab the extracted files..

I recall there were posts about it in the team areas.

Hi

debugger posted a chipset pack test version shortly after this request.
If you wish to test it, you can look in testing forum.

Thanks, I'll look at version in our current test versions.
(test versions can have newer driver content than the pack what was previously officially released, and all changes have to be tested so it can take a while before they are finalised for public release.)

hi
there are a few double semicolons in winnt.sif
;;

maybe that is what is causing this.

BINGO..

I found a mistake. And I think it caused us all these headaches.
I looked back at older versions, and it was already in there.

I will post a new test version as soon as I packed it up.
(file is already outdated) this rapidshare link is pulled back.

Hi
you included your real hwid (PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2363&SUBSYS_B0001458&REV_02) in the .ini of the DP MassStorage 70424, so it's included in the txtsetup.sif

did you also add this to the driver's INF ??

can you try after yuo also add this line to jraid_f.inf
(belongs somewhere in GBT)

%PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2363.DeviceDesc% = JM , PCI\VEN_197B&DEV_2363&SUBSYS_B0001458&REV_02\4&23995DF6&0&00E5

that latest 7055 test was downloaded 8 times, and I truly hope the highpoint issue was solved.
(it did solve iastor issues)

but, it is now pulled, for a Jmicron fix forced me to upload 7056
http://rapidshare.com/files/29867212/DP … 32_7056.7z

test version pulled, it appears iastor and this highpoint issue is fixed.

other fix testversion for Jmicron is uploaded as 7056 elsewhere

removed 7055 for a jmicron fix posted as 7056 elsewhere.

Hi,

muiz / Helmi?
let's implement this

hi
I was typing a long post, and submitted, and lost it all.
in short, [ad-a] is disabled

[ad-9] is not used in INI (for some reason. I can guess, but I do not know) and could cause clash in sil1312 during PNP

I tried all possiblle workarounds to avoid the iastor clash: which resulted in disabling [ad-a] because no other solution worked.

you are right, your workaround is a valid one.
I had spotted this highpoint, but cannot remember wether I saw your earlier topic.
I sure did not act on that but can remedy that, can I not?

so, a new 705xx is in the works.
and I hope this posts sticks (there was a lot more in my previous tha vapourised)

Hi Dmitry,
welcome to DriverPacks.
I see you were trying to help here. That's GREAT.

Unfortunately, that post you replied to is close to a half year old, and silicon Image problems have been looked at by many. I would have to check, but think the driver you linked to is already included in our newer packs.
A number of refinements were added as well, which seemingly adress problems we had, because I see few Sil-Image problems these days.

705test pulled
yesterday somebody brought an Amilo in to look at. (a notebook)
It had dropped and its optical drive was bust, so I could not test a current release of mass storage.
sad

the INF section in the driver I downloaded for amilo lists generic HWID, and this can be tested now
