I have never had the ability to work with an OPK deployment system
If you need the OPK tools CD, I can give you one. They come with all of our 3+ packs of windows... and I have several OPK Tools CD just sitting around collecting dust.

I have the complete same setup at home for when I have someones computer that wants Windows re-installed. Allows me to live my life while I make a few extra bucks
Please Email me, I am interested in learning more of this technique that you have here.
Also one Usb device is not reconized, here is the image:

This is your printer!
Download the drivers from Brother... because printer drivers are NOT included it the DriverPacks.
Check here... it is a program that I have been helping debug... should be completely working now, and will automate the removal, detection, and reinstall of devices that are malfunctioning or have missing drivers.
Best part of all, you can use it with Bâshrat the Sneaky's DriverPacks!!!!!!!
Is there a list where we can see what devices each pack supports?
Unfortunatly only a couple are packed with a supported device list, the others were originally compiled by others that did not include a support list...
Wanna make one for us all and contribute to the project?
Correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the impression that JBL was planning to use RIS?
oops... long day... didn't read the whole post
re-dowload the driverpack... sounds like you got a corrupt/incomplete pack.
should solve the issue.
I've got some good news from you. The tools to create what you need are already available today: RogueSpear's AutoImage.
I was under the impression that this was just for RIS Images... but I haven't actually checked it out yet.
...maybe we could get a tut made that will explain how to support installs from a network share (not using RIS).
Nice job Twig123.
I would like to ask if you could add the date to the file so we know when it is changed.
Thanks,
...and the date is already on all of the releases.
In compliance with Bâshrat the Sneaky's 3rd Party DriverPack Standards... the version number IS the release date.
so the version (as stated on each pack) is currently at the moment 6.08.31
...hence translating to 6=2006. 08=August. 31=31st.

don't know which one it is...but with m1 it crashes Base everytime (I am using them all, so whatever one gets called first is causing it to crap out). As soon as I uncheck 3rd party, works fine.
I haven't had any other complaints, but I will check into it later tonight.

Tested, all packs are processed without a hitch with M1... although the "Additions" pack is processed first, maybe one of the packs is corrupted on your system. Download HashTab, and make sure all the hashes match the ones posted above.

I myself am also looking for a better way to deploy my OS's rather from CD/DVDs. I service ~150 PC's a month, and it is a pain to make the cd's every month with the latest updates. A network share (from what I've been told) is the best way for client's systems to be installed... however, I haven't researched it much and would also like some incite if anyone would be so kind.
Thanks Bâshrat
Try Acronis... I use it all the time and it works great for drive imaging.
Read Here (Specificly the IDE to SATA section)
~Dave
I doubt many people would use it. I think more people would prefer to have it DISABLED. So if you agree with me, then I'll add this as an exception to the DPsFnshr.ini so that this device will simply be removed from the system (and hence you will no longer see the not-yet-installed device in Device Manager).
Sounds fine to me
I just hate the little Yellow things in the device manager
~Dave
lol, no problem.
It's a stickie!
Here: http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic. … 3783#p3783
it is the "Virtual" pack
~Dave
Hm... answered my own question....
Apparently it is a "Metolious Vendor-Defined Sensor" ....and what that is I dont know.
I found the driver by searching DriverGuide, but I had to tell XP to use the specific driver.
Could this be added to the Chipset pack? or should it be a 3rd Party Pack?
I just installed windows on this Dell Dimension 8100... and I am getting this as and Unsupported Device...

My Question... What is it?
Bâshrat the Sneaky said it sounds like a custom chip or something...
If i know what it is... I can possibly re-write a driver to force compatibility. Anyone have any incite?
Same thing for me : french XP without RyanVM updates, only DriverPacks.
Hm... so what does Ryan's Update pack contain that the driver packs dont?
I have the same problem on Asus A8N-VM CSM (look at the end of this post !)
Hmm... Still having issues with this? are you using RyanVM Updates?... cause I am and have no issues.
I just recieved 6 more of those boards... I've already built 2 more of them still with ALL hardware installed with no issue.
Is it not supported by the CATALYST drivers?
I was thinking the same thing.
']Bâshrat, any updates?
All will come in due time, Be patient... other people have jobs/lives too...
I'm sure he is aware of the issue after 11 of your posts
Aren't Matrox cards supposed to be installed ONLY after the windows install is complete?
Otherwise it will pick up the firewire on the card as a standard firewire jack (which it is not). true?
Or is the version of cards without the extra firewire?
*off-topic*
Have I ever mentioned... I hate VIA SATA... But I hate the ULI chipset more....
Um... that may be my fault... try now... I removed the double copies of the old 3rd party packs
