Thanks maxximum. I hadn't thought about that hmm

So the driver that I've included was actually a CORRUPT one, put online by Silicon Image? I'm glad I'm not to blame, except for being so slow in updating the DriverPack.

All Silicon Image drivers have been updated already!

Did it work, razormoon?

I will look into this, but if you can post direct download links, then I will handle it sooner.

OK, it doesn't matter very much.  I have used the GraphicsPack A&B for almost 100 different computers so far, and have not had the problem again.  It is not a very big deal anymore because I trashed the computer in question anyway.

Thanks for the support anyway.

That's great smile More than a 100 computers, and all flawlessly, I may hope? smile

And... THAT's the spirit... if the DriverPacks can't install it, then it must be crap, so let's just trash it big_smile

Superb smile

But I guess that was not exactly the case tongue

I don't have the slightest clue what's causing this... Let's hope a driver update will fix it.

EDIT: What's the error code of the BSOD? 0x7B?

Well, the cause is simple. The driver for your device was not found and therefore not installed. Do you know by heart which nVidia GPU it is? I could look it up, but that takes again some time... It must be an nVidia GPU though. My guess is that you will have to include DriverPack Graphics C for your system!

Those drivers are not even included. Support for those will indeed be added in DriverPack Graphics B/C.

Sorry, no can do. If you want it smaller, then remove the D\G\A\2 and D\G\N\2 directories and 7zip it again. You'll lose support for some devices, though.

Argh.... just updated DriverPack CPU last night!

Could somebody please extract the driver? You have to have an AMD CPU to get this baby extracted...

@ Bâshrat: I'm still waiting for the 6.03.4 version of DriverPacks Chipset and Graphics A.
TNX to let me know if you're going to upload them.
BTW, with yr permission may i ask on this forum if somebody kept these previous version???

coucou

I checked and you CAN use the current DriverPack Graphics A with the old DriverPacks BASE wink. You just won't be able to use the old Control Panel wink I'm writing you the e-mail with the download link for DriverPack Chipset 6.03.1 right now...

Those dirs are no longer necessary, since that is being handled by presetup.cmd now. Though that will of course not work when you're transfering method 2 slipstreamed files into a method 1 installation... The files in the $OEM$\$$\INF dir were the Intel .inf files. The easiest way for you guys to get this back, is to slipstream ONLY DriverPack Chipset using method 1, and then copy the dir to your network installation.

I will add native network installation support in the near future.

I've made you a beta tester, now you can test the NEW version wink So far (in the latest release), nothing but positive reports, so give it a try!

Yes, obviously smile I'll have to change that, then.

Already reported, already fixed (bug #72). The next version of the DriverPacks BASE can be released any moment now wink

Fixed in 6.07.

It does not exist... nVidia references it to have a 'clean' driver, but they don't include the file in the download. They just removed WHQL support for all devices listed there! wink

Sorry for the extremely late reply!

Did you generate this hwids.txt on a system that has been installed using the DriverPacks?

Fixed in 6.07 (well... it will be released as 6.08 now).
