;
; REMARKS
;
; =============================================================================
; -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
; About adding your own exceptions
; -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
;
; - The following system variables are supported:
; * %SystemDrive%
; * %SystemRoot%
; * %WinDir%
; * %ProgramFiles%
; * %DPSROOT% (equals the value of [Settings]\DPsRoot)
; * %DPSTMP% (when you must extract files for example)
;
; - Available executables:
; * addUsepmtimer.exe
; * devcon.exe
;
; - The unique ID in the sectionnames (i.e.: [<OS platform>__<unique ID>__
; <driver dir, including the master 'D' dir>]) must NOT be sequential, it
; must just be unique. Only numbers (0-9) can be used. The reason for the
; existence of this string is that sometimes there are multiple exceptions
; for the same driver, which would result in identical section names, which
; is not allowed.
;
; - A requirement of the type 'tagFiles' is considered forfilled if ALL of the
; listed conditions are met.
;
; - A requirement of the types '+hwids', '-hwids', '+infFiles' and '-infFiles'
; is considered forfilled if ANY of the listed conditions is met.
;
; - The commands will ONLY be executed if ALL the active requirements are
;
; - The commands will be executed in the order they are entered.
;
;
; -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
; About the implementation of KTD
; -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
;
; - To optimize the DevicePath entry in the registry (to allow more drivers to
; be added), a new system variable will be created, which will accessible
; through the variable %KTD%. The result is that each path that is added
; (that refers to a driver), will be much shorter - and therefore this allows
; more drivers to be added.

Re: [INACTIVE] Found New hardware wizard (9 replies, posted in Feedback and Support - DriverPacks Base)
Upon first boot, I get a found new harware wizard.... cdrom drive. I have used same installation on many machines and always get the same thing. Its no big deal, but its annoying because it happens durring app install via runonceex. Any suggestions how to fix this? I AM NOT INSTALLING AL120 OR DAEMON TOOLS. Found new hardware wizard just appears out of the blue.
Ive seen this on more computers , even on my own

Re: [SOLVED] BASE 6.08.6 + MassStorage 6.08 = fnsh_log.cmd NOT FOUND (19 replies, posted in Feedback and Support - DriverPacks Base)
Bâshrat the Sneaky wrote:You're misunderstanding the problem. The file fnsh_log.cmd is no longer used since version 6.08 of the DriverPack Sound B! It's only used in versions before that. That's why I've been asking where you've referenced it. And that's why I've now suggested to rebuild your uwxpcd as the easier way to fix this problem.
It's really crazy .... My unattend is made from scratch with a XP Pro SP2 version, my DrivePack Base and drivers are updated, and I never use such file like fnsh_log.cmd . I don't understand ...... OOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!!!! ******** FLASH ****** THAT'S IT !!!!!!!!! I'VE SUDDENLY FOUND THE SOLUTION WHILE WRITING THIS MESSAGE !!!!!
AFTER MAKING THE ISO FILE, I USE A SPECIAL PATCHER TO INCLUDE SERIAL LICENSE DIRECTLY IN ISO IMAGE.
AND THIS PATCHER USES THE OLD WINNT.SIF !!! sh*t !!!!!!!!!! I'M STUPID !!!!!!!!!!! But your message gave me the clue .......Here's is the line in the old winnt.sif :

Re: [SOLVED] SiI 3112r controller doesnt work: 0x7B BSOD (102 replies, posted in DriverPack Mass Storage)
Hi, i have the same problem as BAM. Using a Asus a7N8X-E deluxe mainboard
HWID:
PCI\VEN_1095&DEV_3112&SUBSYS_61121095&REV_02\4&3B1D9AB8&0&5840: Silicon Image SiI 3112 SATARaid Controller
Problem: not the sil3112r but the sil3112 file is loaded. IT HAS TO BE sil3112r!
This problem only occurs when using hdd's in RAID. (With non-RAID the si3112 gets loaded offcourse, and install works perfectly)
I tried an normal windows xp pro with sp2, loaded the (newest) sil3112r drivers via f6, and it worked.... So its not a driver problem.... :S
I hope you can do something with this info Bâshrat....
Good luck!
Has nothing to do with this problem !
For the rest :
Silicon has new drivers , maybe that will help.

Re: DriverPack CPU 6.09 (39 replies, posted in DriverPack CPU)
to Bâshrat the Sneaky
the amdk8.sys file is NOT the same 6.08 and 6.09
amdk8.sys is NOT from WinXP 32 bit (in 6.09)
It is from Win98 or Win 64 or Win 2000
You can load http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content … usetup.exe and compare amdk8.sys
switched the sys file and it works fine now , thx
