You can always update the sata bios yourself.

Please post things like this as request.

Use the older driver for this one, not the one from 5.11

Ok since there is no interest in making this thing work in the driverpack.

Helmi this is getting oftopic, and has nothing to do with the packs anymore.

Please close for now.

Are none of you listening to muiz3?
He's built you a custom driverpack and has asked about 4 times for people to test it but it seems nobody is listening.

Muiz3's test driverpack is here: http://rapidshare.com/files/19219549/DP … st.7z.html

I would test it, but I don't have access to the affected notebook.

Will someone please test this pack?

I gues they dont want this to be fixed

Can someone please test the test pack, otherwise it will never be in the next update of the pack!!!!!!!

muiz3 - i downloaded your driver package but i do not know how to unzip it. I tired winzip and winrar with no luck

mr_smartepants  i posted my Audio Vista Audio driver above for you to look at.
I have the P105-S197 and i tried everything in this forum with no luck! I do not care about the modem i just want audio! Let me know what you need and i can get!

unzip? never unpack driverpacks( but if you want to look inside, it opens just fine with winrar,or 7zip)

And if no one tests test packs, why the discussion?

\BE\1 the inf doesnt mention gewmi.mof
\MI do you mean they have to be all in the same folder?
\N\3 do you mean it has to be in the same folder?
\SM\3 ,6 do you mean they have to be all in the same folder?
\SM\7 the driver only contains EP427.SYS not the one you said

If so then i will correct this in next version of LAN

THX overflow

OK, i will look at this one..

EDIT : cant find those HWIDS in the inf of the driver, are you sure its the right driver?

The reason for stickying this topic is simple: Virtual PC 2007 is completely free. And it's less limited than VMWare player. That alone should be enough IMO.

And as far as i know we dont support that tool

Yes, we do!
AFAIK, this tool from Patje is what Bâshrat the Sneaky used to make the DriverPack Graphics A compatible with mobile cards.

Anyway, A Murder of Crows, have you already tried installing on your machine using DriverPack Graphics A or are you just asking in case of?

Because, ususally, the preferred method is to try it out first, then, when problems arise, come in here and complain/ask for help wink

Time for you te read more in the testing part of the forum Helmi, i wrote a piece about this there wink

VMware much better smile
