Hello All:
I'm very disappointed
I've done every thing as mentioned in instructions
And here is what I did:
I used nLite to copy XPCD to XPCD folder @ C:
then I go through steps with nLite to remove what I want,
Also integrated a number of Add on from ryan vm orum for other members
Then I used the XPize to integrate it to XPCD
Then I used the driver packs, and slipstreaming run greatly
But I was shocked when I installed the .iso to VMWare
I found nothing, I did not find the add on, I did not find any driver for any thing
What could be wrong?
and here is underbelow is a copy of the DPs_BASE.log:

Re: SOLVED: modifying DriverPacks (8 replies, posted in Feedback and Support - DriverPacks Base)
just a little misunderstanding is all.
You do not know how much I respect you,
Really you are a great one doing a great work, I wish if you do not mind to let me add you to my messenger list to talk to you,
in case you agree and do not mind, MSN is - mohamed.g.basheer@hotmail.com -,
Do you remember your post in www.msfn.org that contains a lot of add on and switchless applications
and a link to download .cab or .msi
While I'm very sorry for that you will no longr update it, but I know how much time it takes to keep updating every thing and make add on or test a switch,
for me I've spent two months or more trying to make my unattended cd and still failed to do so, because there are many applications I do not find any switches for them,
Bashrat The Sneaky, RogueSpear ... you are doing a great work,
I wish if you accept any other way for donations beside PayPal because Egypt is not listed,
Thanks a lot for your work, thanks a lot for your time, thanks a lot for your patient to keep listen and help the new beginer,
THANKS:)

Re: SOLVED: modifying DriverPacks (8 replies, posted in Feedback and Support - DriverPacks Base)
if you are going to create a slipstreamed CD for only one system, you could manually DL and integrate the handful of drivers needed and save a lot of space on the CD.
That is exactly what I'm talking about
I want to make my own, and when I make it successfully I will share my experiences with others
Thanks again

Re: SOLVED: modifying DriverPacks (8 replies, posted in Feedback and Support - DriverPacks Base)
The only suggestion I would have for you is that if you run into some sort of problem with your modified DriverPack, try again with the real DriverPack to see if you still have the problem before reporting anything as a bug. Also, if you remove drivers from DP Mass Storage and chose to do a mass storage text mode integration, some things could be seriously thrown off.
1st of All, I was not reporting any kind of bugs, and I'm sorry if I expressed my self like that
I was asking for experts opinions about what is right and what is wrong
Oh yes, forgot to make that remark: DON'T MESS WITH DRIVERPACK MASSSTORAGE
I will not use it at all
Thanks
Mohamed

Topic: SOLVED: modifying DriverPacks (8 replies, posted in Feedback and Support - DriverPacks Base)
Hi All:
When I downloaded the driver packs, I've found that there are many thing I do not need at all,
May I unpack the driver pack and remove what I do not need, then repack it with .7z ?
i.e. for graphic driver pack there are 3 driver packs:
DriverPack Graphics A, DriverPack Graphics B, DriverPack Graphics C.
What I want is DriverPack Graphics A, so I download it, and I'm only need the ATI radeon driver, so I unpack it and browse to it and delete every thing in the driver pack except A\1 folder,
so now I have :
DP_Graphics_A_wnt5_x86-32_606\D\G\A\1
so now the size is much smaller
now I compress it with 7-zip with the following setting:
so the result will be a file with the same name and same format, but include only the driver I need, so what I want to know simply is:
What I'm doing is right or wrong?
Do I need to do any thing else or not?
And I want to do the same with every driver pack bcz what is the use to have drivers for hardware I do not have?
Thanks
Mohamed

Re: SOLVED: some 3rd party DriverPacks not recognized (7 replies, posted in Feedback and Support - DriverPacks Base)
I don't know if you can integrate a previously integrated source, but you should rename those DriverPacks as follows:
Printer -> DP_Printer_wnt5_x86-32_603.7z
TV -> DP_TV_wnt5_x86-32_181.7z
USB -> DP_USB_wnt5_x86-32_12.7z
And put it in 3rd party driver !
That is exactly what I have and exactly what I did,
But the problem still the same because when you use the Driverpacks Base and in the screen of selecting the driver packs The other driver packs are not active to choose and it is dimmed
and here is what I'm talking about:
but the previous release never face this problem because I put all driver packs in the same place and run the application then every thing is done then I take the result folder to my XPCD folder and do the resst you know.
and just to let you know what I did
I've downloaded about 90% of the add on exist in the following url
http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=511
and the steps were as follow:
1) used nLite to take a copy of XP to XPCD folder
2) used Xpize to integrate it with the XPCD source without creating the .iso
3) used nLite to integrate rayan add on, and others add on exist in the above url http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=511
4) then go a long with nLite till the end with options without creating .iso
5) then I used Bashrat driver pack with the driver packs Base.
5) Back again to nLite and created the .iso cd.
The problem that I've recieved many errors, and after try the .iso with VMWare, i did not see many of applcations I added them with add on
So any one can feed me back about what is write and what is wrong,
and what am I suppose to do
is it wrong to add all existing add on?
Thanks
So can any solve help me now?
Thanks

Re: SOLVED: some 3rd party DriverPacks not recognized (7 replies, posted in Feedback and Support - DriverPacks Base)
What should I rename it to ?
It will not be the same name as :
DP_Chipset_wnt5_x86-32_605.7z, ...etc bcz two files can not take the same file name at the same folder
beside if I did it 1st time with the original package, will I be able to use the DriverPack Base again with the xp cd source
What do you think bashrat?
Thanks

Topic: SOLVED: some 3rd party DriverPacks not recognized (7 replies, posted in Feedback and Support - DriverPacks Base)
Dear All:
Especially Bashrat
After downloading the diver pack, I'm also downloaded the Printer, TV, USB driver packs
But was unable to integrate it because it was not avaliable in the options or check boxes
But I was able to do it with the previous version
Does there is any solve to be able to integrate it using the current DriverPacks Base?
I did tried to put the Printer, TV, USB driver packs in the 3rd party DriverPacks folder but also failed.
And there were no any other solution for that matter
can you make an exception and send me the previous version of the DriverPacks Base, because I was able with it to integrate every thing.
Thanks

Re: SOLVED: IP blocked? (8 replies, posted in Feedback and Support - DriverPacks Base)
Thanks a lot
But I do not man the hp 1010 website?
I mean that there were a topic in the forum, actually I do not know if it is in the new forum or in the msfn.org forum
It was containing many HP printers
so do you remember its place?
it was exactly the same format of the driver pack, so I'll extract it and choose what I want then I will recompress it again and use the normal way to integrate it in the XPCD
Thanks
Mohamed

Hello m8:
I hope you are doing great
Sorry for disturbing you
I'm still facing the same problem with downloading
I'm still recieving the same error that I'm not authorized and 404 error
I've tried all the ideas that have been mentioned in the forum but get nothing
also I've formated and reinstall windows in a way to try to solve the problem, but still get the same eror
also regrading if my IP is banned or not, I doubt about being banned because I never did anything wrong or violated anything to get banned, I'm also think in a way if it was the cause, so now I'm using the application Hide IP Platinum 2.7 full version, and also still facing the same error
so what is going on
how to solve this problem
we all have really depending on your tool to save us a lot of time and effort
so can you help me with that
because after exploring the forum I've realized that I'm not the only one who face this problem, but there are many else
Thanks and hope to find a solution soon
