abdou,
the file is correct.
such huge differences in size are explained by settings in 7zip.
when you use SOLID block size, the archive can be quite smaller than when you do not.

hi,
are you sure the motherboards can support the core two duo?
thanks.
thanks busel..
we could not sit and wait for intel's official release of a file we had in a testpack.
We had testpacks running since 804... these testpacks had a pre-release intel inside but also included the anounced NVidia update and other file updates and fixes.
So, because the fixes were important enough, and tested, the DriverPack MassStorage 805 release was done without the still unofficial intel update.
please redownload..
( it amazes me people do not keep old versions.. you may sometimes be able to fix things by comparing older and newer. )
hang on.. there was a last minute change (rename of folder)
already uploading fixed version.
no
some people tell us it works.
They was the downloads, the work to be done to them (outlined in revised DriverPacks team private forum), and no more.
This build was done from scratch. I was not using old releases.
welcome to DriverPacks.
your REQuest was missed because it did not say [REQ] in topic title. (also because we was giving priority to urgent issues..)
I want you to report on the testpack when we include this.
Deal?
try 805.3
Chaz, can you please help test them?
And Chaz, I am not keen on godzilla popups, pop unders, and whatever else that darn site wants to infest me with.
Official links are REALLY appreciated.
You are by no means new to this, and I want you to start helping us for real.
Your REQuests can be better documented.
I think you should at least start giving more feedback on testpacks.
I hope you understand that we want to get reports on what worked well just as bad as reports about conflicts.
A report about a conflict has "magnet power" and the fix we then focus on could be a half fix.
Hi,
is your host OS UK english or US english?
I wish you had posted that yesterday.
I know Vier is a gifted and accurate poster.
(I wish I could write French beyond cela est une baguette.. parle come une pie.. euh. je parle comme le vache.. euh.. LA vache qui rir.)
LOL.
Vier, we have a bunch of French speaking posters with little skill in English, and I think we really need your help here.
You know I am Flemish. You also know I try my best.
We need people with your skills more than ever.
I have undone the 13.0.1 which was (I admit) released as part of a quick fix by me. But the 13.0.1 was not properly checked by me. I was in the belief it was a checked driver.
We will have to find out whether Dan M's Bart PE fix for the DELL OEM 'intel' version is broken because of the undoing.
welcome to DriverPacks
Q1
we probably have it fixed in the new release 805.3 (I could check the latest excell worksheet.. which is available to all..)
Q2
If there is something generic, and no subversion 'specific', the generic will grab it.
This can actually cause conflict when you have a large collection in the archives, so we sometimes have to try to filter out conflicts.
forum is not behaving well.
The forum is often overloaded.
We all suffer this.

Hi Samlab, I hope you can confirm some of those had ATI graphics cards, and that the ATI control panel installed automatically.
So far, the only negative on automatic install I have is MY own negative on a very peculiar combination of hardware, and the control panel SFX installer works when I run it afterward.
Positive feedback helps. Thanks.
If you can give some details what those machines have in them, you will help us even more.

Jeff, what I meant is this...
When I saw I had an issue with ATI CPL on that testrig I installed a mass storage only, and then installed the rest of the drivers with mobo supplied DVD, after which I installed ATI supplied drivers from the gigabyte supplied ATI driver CDROM. (and that graphics CDROM had issues.. I had to get an updated driver from the OEM to make the driver install without error.. I reloaded the mass only -repartition-quickformat- and then used the downloaded driver and this installed the graphics driver without hiccups. And, after that, I did the whole thing all over again, with DriverPack Graphics A /b/c and the rest.. and the ATI CPL does not install automagically yet other drivers are installed correct, save for a Jmicron -tertiary- mass storage which required the Gigabyte mobo supplied installer to get rid of a duplicated Jmicron controller. )
so.. I figure that the litmus 'crapola' makes CPL install fail.
I wasn't fully awake yet.. geforce GT8600.. Nvidia has worked here and NV CPL installers are not launched by an exception.
hehe, LAN was not so quiet..
I want to release the new work on LAN this month.
The problem I have with the ATI CPL is most probably caused by the combination of 'crapola' hardware I plonked together as testrigs.
For instance, the supplied mobo DVD and ATI CDROM have issues.. I have to download "fixed OEM" drivers to make it work, so I figure it is not a thing many will see. (OH, the driver in DriverPack Graphics A works..and DriverPack Graphics A also properly installs the ATI HDMI driver. It's only that the ATI CPL is not automatically installing for me. )
BUT, that CPL issue I see is why I do not want to take the risk of releasing an untested DriverPack Graphics A and then get a zillion angry posts as result.
Hi,
when you dive into nLite and look at driver removal, you see it will offer you the option to remove S3 driver.
So, you better NOT do that.
DriverPack Graphics B also has S3 drivers and I figure that together it is is the most complete set for NT you can find.
Hi mr_smartepants,
That file is there, but a http link is "forbidden'' so you can only get to it by ftp.
