I hope the "new" posts, and "24 hours", and "unanswered" can be "googlized" as well.
hi
this driver got included in a new testpack
Jeff?
have you noticed DriverPacks BASE 805 does not truncate a 805A_nightly "name" to 8.3 filename standard in the OEM folder?
I will close this topic.
reports can be posted in the topic I linked to.
graphics B testpack 806A was uploaded
DP_Graphics_B_wnt5_x86-32_806A.7z
it has new drivers as well.. not just the fix.
details will follow.
OK, the download has all of it.. (which is a nice thing to do by vaio.. you are Lucky they do that)
You can tell us what was not included in DriverPacks. (I can guess about a few.. but I would like you to tell us.)
this is not clear to me
Are you saying none are missing?
I will repeat.. We just need to know about missing drivers, and a link to the missing driver (and the name of it, so we know which one you need added..)
Do not expect that we look at all drivers one can find on the internet..
Hi
I was uploading grap B and C testpacks when I saw this appear.. grins.
I hope this tests good.. it looks like a good job.
(I have gotten me an ICH9 and ICH9R mobo to test on.. so it's gonna be fun.)
DriverPack Graphics A 806A testpack is out.
please let us know if the problem still exists

Hi,
I edited topic title, and closed the other topic.
You have now told us which drivers work for you.
hehe, Jeff wasn't kidding.. I was looking at the backlog for WLAN..
let's close this one, and continue this here..

Aha.. that's what the added HWIDs were for.
Thanks, the 806A DriverPack Graphics A testpack was uploaded not long ago.
Erik mailed me a fixed INI and a fixed INF
graphics A 806A testfile June 3rd..
HASH is 006f19ee6f9309526293e80b2d86211d
see post at top.
this is also serious.
Search does not work
http://forum.driverpacks.net/search.php?action=show_24h
I use this link a LOT and it no longer works.
I use this link at least a couple times a week
http://forum.driverpacks.net/search.php … unanswered
it no longer works..
forum SEARCH button itself redirects me to google search? (EDIT.. This is by design)
when I hit it
I get this

(AHA.. this is by design)
it was reported here
http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic. … 286#p21286
thanks for looking into it.
Don't panic..
TESTPACKS are hosted on another server.
We have to get additions and updates tested before we release.
(it would make little sense to upload testpacks to the "release" server since we sometimes see more than one testpack uploaded per day..)
cheche, on behalf of Bâshrat the Sneaky, thanks.
The forum seems to almost behave nicely.. you noticed something I was not even aware of.
I hope it is fixed now.
hi Krige,
It seems you missed the link to the new LAN ((testpack)) which includes the driver.
See this post..
http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic. … 271#p21271
hi, welcome to DriverPacks.
thanks for the HWIDs.
Now... Will you please link to the drivers you are missing?
You do not expect us to look all of those up for you, or do you?
as an aside.. this just struck me.
We've always 'replaced' packs. When we release a new, we automagically kill the link to older release.
Jeff recently mentioned we should have a quick rollback available to users.
The way we use CDN is not smart.. With content delivery we can indeed have links to older DriverPacks releases available for as long as we don't move them and kill the links.
There was a time Bâshrat the Sneaky paid per giga download, and now it is per upload..
A split DriverPack Graphics A, split into DriverPack Graphics A desktop and DriverPack Graphics A mobile would 'in theory' be the best choice because company rollouts can choose and combine and every thing would be whql and so on..
We can allow users to push the envelope to a degree, but our time is not paid.
I mean, if every single update makes it so hard on us that we spend many manhours in testing before we dare release a public test...
Mobility drivers (which is like IGP for laptops) are different to desktop IGP and plug in GPU cards.
D\GM\ for lappies
D\G\ for a/b/c
it is a thought like any other.
@ krige
You will have to report a positive or negative.
We have to see (more than one) positives with logs before we will make new releases.
cool.
Something new to look at.
I wish people knew how hard it is to look for conflicts.
I expect cheche to reply with results on the new testpacks.
I can tell you that we will not release without test reports. We have to get more than one positive before we can consider a new release.
Why?
We cannot willy nilly update the DriverPacks.
There is a money issue. Each upload we do for release has a price tag.
Donations do not pay for our time.. But you should know hosting files on servers is not free.. and DriverPacks files cost money per upload.
This is our current host. It is actually the best I know of for high bandwidth download use.

Hi JakeLD,
that testpack is already up, and the intel job is IN (with one small fix in INI.. an unofficial HWID was removed to get this like the downloads had this.), and it has a 2000 and 2003 driver for a highpoint.
(H3\ now has two brothers)
There is a "php" style changelog in the 806A testpack.
the stuff that was left out from 8053
(which is the not yet official intel iastor driver.. and additional H3 highpoint drivers in H3k and H3S for server and 2000)
