SamLab, have you checked your source?  I had nearly an identical setup to your recent setups (Radeon 9800Pro, Intel 865PE mobo) and that test worked fine last week.
How are you integrating?  DPBase?  SysPrep? BartPE?
Besides, those two cards are directly supported by the factory .inf.  I didn't modify anything for those two cards.
The notebook is different, since we use a modified .inf for those.

Um no if there is a folder at root named OEM then we have found the DriverPacks.

if you use it for something else then shame on you,

Well, that's not entirely correct.  Lots of software use the OEM folder (not to be confused with the $OEM$ folder).
Siginet's PowerPacker uses the OEM folder for stuff as well as OEMscan (for pre-activating OEM PCs with oembios files).
Siginet and Bâshrat the Sneaky worked together on the project years ago since PowerPacker will integrate DriverPacks without using DPBase.

I've never had a problem with files living together in the OEM folder so long as the filenames are unique.

Wow, if Toshiba's own drivers don't work, then you've got other serious problems.  Did you load the chipset drivers?

This has nothing to do with DriverPacks, so I've moved the topic here to 'Other'.

You might be confusing OEM keys with VLK keys.  OEM SLP keys will activate on the OEM hardware they were registered with (Dell, HP, etc).  Volume License Keys (VLK) are sold in bunches; ie. one key for 1000 PCs.  If you exceed your allotted number, then you might run into issues with WGA, but I've never seen it.  I use OEM SLP activation whenever possible on OEM hardware (confirmed by the OEM sticker on the side of the case).

Also, BigBrit is right, if you compile your XP SP3 disc in a Vista environment, there are issues with VLK keys not being accepted.  Try building your disc in an XP environment.

I've noticed that too.  Sometimes an instance of "msiexec" is left running, but normally a restart clears the issue.

Indeed!  Go legit or go home.

Besides, Google is your friend.

Yeah, these are tough.  The newest ones have a different folder/installer structure than the last ones (which was different from the ones in the 8.04 DP).
I swear those engineers are doing this just to piss us off! sad

Still working on it though.

Yup, it's fast! big_smile

So that's the status of the new Drupal site?  I tried visiting last week and was asked for my password (which didn't work).

I assume the following configuration:
NV card in PCIe (PEG)  slot, ATI card in regular PCIe slot (non-PEG).
Or does your board feature more than one PEG slot?

My board has the Intel X38 chipset which does NOT support SLI, but DOES support CrossFire.  It has two PCIexpress x16 slots and supports dual graphics cards.
During my 'dual' test, the nvidia card was in the slot closest to the CPU.  I did not test both cards the other way around (but I should).  The system detected both cards, but could not install the ATI drivers correctly when the card was 'secondary' to the nvidia.  Also, the ATICCC installed correctly, and detected the presence of both cards, but claimed it was not compatible with either (not with nvidia for obvious reasons, and not with the ATI card because the drivers hadn't loaded correctly).

More testing is in order.

Just to clarify my above post.  I ran three tests:
Test 1. Success. Nvidia 8800GTS installed as sole graphics card.
Test 2. Success. ATI HD3450 installed as sole graphics card.
Test 3. Partial failure. both above cards installed simultaneously, with 8800GTS in #1 slot (with monitor connected), HD3450 in #2 slot (with no monitor connected.)
Nvidia installed perfect, ATI did not (CCC good, drivers bad).

I think the system got confused with two different vendors graphics cards.  Not having the monitor connected to the ATI card probably didn't help.  I should have run a Test #4 to connect the monitor to the ATI card and leave the Nvidia card without a monitor.

I use WPI.  And it works perfectly in both XP and Vista installs.

Well my own internal testing brought up an interesting problem.
I ran a test with BOTH my new ATI HD3450 and my powerful Nvidia 8800GTS installed at the same time.
Nvidia drivers and control panel installed perfect, no problems.
ATI drivers partially installed, and ATI CCC installed, but would not run.
After restart, "New hardware wizard" popped up to install "VGA display device" which would fail.

When using each card on it's own, there were zero problems, with a clean device manager.

So I can verify that on single card installations, this DP works perfect.

Oh that is hilarious! big_smile
I can assure you there is no virus in that DriverPacks!
Scanned today with Symantec Endpoint Protection v11...clean

Can you email me your DPsFnshr.log?

Well, you might get lucky if you have an installation DVD that came with the notebook.  The drivers may be on it.
Just because I'm not able to get my Atheros card working, doesn't mean you won't.

Thanks, I will look into it.

Most of the Atheros 7-series drivers won't work under XP since they're designed for Vista (I tried).  You should have all the drivers you need using the Graphics_A and Sound_A DriverPacks.
Can you try these two DriverPacks and report back?

Do the drivers from Toshiba here work?

Nice find SamLab!
Jaak would call that HWID a "super generic".  Damn Dell drivers! sad

I'd say delete the whole D4 folder.

Welcome to DriverPacks.net! smile
You should read the post: "READ BEFORE YOU ASK" here

You need to get the drivers from the vendor (Toshiba).  You might get lucky and the drivers are on the installation DVD that came with the system.
The drivers from Toshiba here are older than what's in DriverPacks Sound_B.

Which DriverPacks did you use?

You don't need to request this.  We're already hard at work trying to incorporate it.
Problem is, Creative doesn't make it easy for us.
If you want to help contribute, see if you can figure out how to install the Audigy control panel silently.  That's the bugger!

Helmi wrote:

Can you send the wrong card back, at least?
Would hate to see you waste money sad

I could, but I'm not going to.  The next cheaper card with HDMI is almost triple the price, and I got such a good deal on this one (after rebate).
It'll be fine.  Besides, it's a low-profile card with no wheezing fan so I can use it to build a HTPC in the future if I want. smile

So which driver does it come from?  You need to be specific.
