Is this a better/newer driver than the 'generic' Intel GMA driver (rev 5009) that was posted last week?

Yes, and it directly supports your HWID with no modifications. smile

Ooh, good find.

Try it without your 3rd party DriverPacks please.

Uploaded in the "Testing Team" area. smile

No problem! smile
Whoa, those are kinda old eh?  I think we already support that chip...let me look.
*Edit
Yeah, there's a single dupe hwid in \A5 for Radeon 7000.  I'm sure it'll be no problem though.
Uploading nightly now...

Welcome to the 'Testing Team' Hector! smile
Please review the new forum areas open to you now.

Floppy?  What's a floppy? wink

What that means, is you integrate DriverPacks BASE into your source LAST!
This is only when building your install disc.  Once Windows is installed, you update normally.
Besides, you can't use nlite or RVMI to load hotfixes into a running XP install.  That's just crazy wink

ATI Catalyst 8.8 was absolute crap.  I had so many problems getting that garbage to integrate properly we finally ditched it and went back to cat 8.7 until later cats were released.  That's why our dev time is so long between releases, we make sure they're bug-free.
Just because a driver has a higher version number, doesn't make it better.

We don't use that nightly server anymore because it was unreliable, slow, and non-testers were using them in production environments (not cool).

There is no Intel in DriverPack Graphics C. wink
Can you post your HWIDs please.

OK, so I need feedback now.
Our options are these:
1) All 3 graphics DriverPacks have zero HWID overlap but driversigning is broken.
2) Driversigning is preserved for all 3 DriverPacks but they have significant HWID overlap which may cause conflicts.

OK, I must be blind.  Where can I find the FTP upload info for the new server?  Email me? wink

OK, the new file is on the final server, same file name.  I renamed the flawed 8102 file to DP_Graphics_A_wnt5_x86-32_8102old.7z
If you want to rename the new file to 8103 that's cool too.

The root of your .7z file should be the D\ folder and the DriverPacks Finisher .ini file (unless it's a nightly, then it would have a changelog too)

That's what's funny, that line is already there!  I'll fix it and update the site.  There's an .ini bug left in there too.  Enough to warrant an increment update.

Damn, I really didn't think the driver-signing would be that big a deal.  The original signed .inf is relabeled nv4_dispinf.bak, just delete the current nv4_disp.inf and relabel the .bak file to nv4_disp.inf to restore signing.

Can you post a {sanitized} copy of your winnt.sif?  I'd love to see if driversigning was disabled.

Actually, that's my fault.  The file IS uncompressed already, I just forgot to rename the file.  The .ca_ files need to be .cap (check the [sourcedisksfiles] section of the .inf and you'll see.)
This is fixed in the nightly, but I should re-release DriverPack Graphics A 8102 to fix that file, just in case.

Can you try this DriverPack Graphics C nightly?  I moved N3 to DriverPack Graphics C and updated it to 93.71

The nvidia control panel options are not currently in DriverPack Graphics B or C, but they are easily added via DriverPacks Finisher .ini entries.
Jeff, the easiest option is to enable the control panel options for ANY graphics dp.  Adding that function to the latest DPbase RC won't break any current release DriverPacks since the only .ini that supports it is DriverPack Graphics A at present.
I'll go ahead and start modifying the .ini files for the other two graphics DriverPacks to support that option.  Easy.

damn... guess I'm going to have to wait a bit longer... maybe I should try stepping back to an older graphics driver pack?

Yes, try the DriverPack Graphics C instead of A.
I just uploaded it.  For nvidia 6100, DriverPack Graphics C uses the rock-solid v93.71 drivers, your hwid overlaps with DriverPack Graphics A.  If DriverPack Graphics C works better for you, I'll remove the overlap for that series chipset from DriverPack Graphics A.
Don't forget to remove DriverPack Graphics A from your .ISO wink

And dpms has been updated too.

It also wouldn't hurt to start with a fresh source. smile
