Is there any repository of older CCC versions out there somewhere that I can use to attempt regressing CCC?
Well, does the 9.06 release work? You could try that.

Looks like you did everything right.
The Radeon 9000 is an old card. It's possible the new CCC isn't compatible with the older drivers anymore.
So does the ATI icon appear in the task bar after boot?
Do you get any errors when trying to open CCC?
I'm working on it. SamLab already reported it in the testing forums.
Thanks for the good news!
I updated the driver for that card in one of the nightlies. It's possible that creative already fixed that (but I'm not holding my breath).
While that may be true of other drivers, graphics drivers are one area where users may actually see performance and stability improvements.
Sometimes this is not the case.
And no, you're not dumb. That's a pretty insightful statement.
Hopefully, the latest nightly fixes this with the move to 190.62 drivers.
I'm working on a DriverPack Graphics A 909beta (just a cleaned-up nightly) to upload in the next few days.
This should be fixed in the nightlies. Can you try this and report back?
-link removed for public Release Candidates.
Updated first post.
Minor fixes and edited .ini contents.
Oh, I didn't realize you transitioned to autoit from batch.
*offtopic,
I've been struggling with my own oemscan project and getting it to output to a logfile from batch.
Source code razormoon?
Hopefully I'll have some free time in a few weeks.
I know I promised to help a while ago...sorry muiz!
I agree with abdou. Use a linux live CD. It doesn't use any space on your hard drive at all.
Added "code" tags.
Very nice.
All driver installations happen at the same time. During XP install, this is between T-37 and T-33 (37-33 minutes remaining...).
The methods only describe how the DriverPacks are packaged.
Method 1 (original, slower) takes all the DriverPacks, then .cab compresses them before including them in your XP source. This has the benefit of being available during a repair install. Slowest of all the methods.
Method 2 keeps the DriverPacks .7z compressed, then decompresses them before the T-39 stage of install. Fastest of all the methods.
The finisher .ini isn't getting deleted at the end of the install because it's named wrong.
DP_WebCam_wnt5_x86-32.ini
Should be named:
DriverPack_WebCam_wnt5_x86-32.ini

classes = "MEDIA"
rootDir = "D\3\WC"
driverCount = 57

Also, if you move the changelog to inside the \D\ folder it'll get deleted and won't be left behind at the root of C:\
Thanks Major!
@mr_smartepants: are you saying I can add 3rd party driverpacks without re-running DPs_BASE?
Yes!
What you're doing is fine. But once you have DriverPacks integrated, you can drag/drop DriverPacks to/from the OEM folder and retest. The only exception to this is dpms, you MUST re-run DriverPacks BASE to integrate a different version of dpms into your source. The other DriverPacks don't require any special handling other than drag/drop (and rename to 8.3 filenames).
Easy!
- Moved to hardware forum.
Welcome to DriverPacks!
Wow, I initially thought your ps2 port was shot, but if two new keyboards don't work, or with USB port either, It might be another OS component that's corrupted.
Did you try reinstalling XP with DriverPacks?
I'll let the picture say it all.
"Updating txtsetup.sif and dosnet.inf to support"...what? Support what?

You don't have to rebuild your source each time, nor do you have to run DriverPacks BASE each time (unless you want to change dpms). You can simply add/replace/delete DriverPacks directly from your .iso.
Here's some basic info:
Release. Very stable and compatible with 99.9% of systems. We aim to release every month, but we've only managed every 6 months to a year between releases.
Release Candidate. Very stable, testing opened to the general public.
Beta. Mostly stable, still hunting bugs. Compatible with maybe 80% of systems. Constrained to our testing team only. Beta's come just before Release Candidate.
Nightly. May get built every night. Unstable. Designed for testing new drivers or new methods. Riddled with bugs. May be OK, but don't count on it.
Fair enough. When your bandwidth situation changes, our offer still stands.
Whaaaaattt? How can you not know him? He created the Kick Ass HWID scanner that I find priceless!
