Topic: portcls.sys causing BSOD

I have integrated the latest driver packs with the latest driver base, and I keep getting a BSOD on setup stating that portcls.sys has crashed.  I seen a few other posts on here but not a clear answer as to solve this issue with the driver. 

I can reboot and then continue setting up XP completely.  But the Realtek AC97 drivers are not loaded.  When I try to load the drivers from within XP it crashes everytime once the drivers start installing.

What is the thing to do?

please give more info, are you using other tools like RyanVM or nLite?
could you please include your logs? DPs_BASE.log in the program file, and or the finisher log (from the installation drive)?

So sorry for taking so long, I was on vacation.

Yes, I used RyanVM to add updates and addons, used nLite to do some tweaking, and used DPbase for adding the driver packs.  I used VM first then nLite then DP. Here is the DP log:
