Hi
i have this weird problem : "Failed to CAB compress \D\M\.sys to \.SY_." and the install is stopped..

Base 7014, latest DP

Hm, interesting, it is trying to CAB compress a .sys file while DP MassStorage is not even present, nor did you enable it to be slipstreamed... Will try to reproduce this.

It doesn't have to be cleared, but yes, it was actually necessary after the update to DriverPacks BASE 7.01.4 (or if 7.01.5 if you skipped 7.01.4)... I will update the news items to mention that.

Im having the same problem exactly.  I deleted the folders out of the QSC directory and that didnt help.

Trying to install the chipset, LAN, and WLAN driverpacks.

*Edit* Just saw that a new version was released.  Testing it now.

I do NOT use DP mass storage...

BTW Im not using Mass Storage DP.  Just the 3 I mentioned.

Chipset
LAN
WLAN

All are current versions.  I have tried to get it to work by changing different options but its a no go.  I had no problems with base 7012 (never tried 7013).

Please run the BASE in debug mode by doing this:
1) close the BASE if it's still running
2) edit your DPs_BASE.ini like this:

[General]
debug = "yes"

3) run the BASE and let it slipstream the DriverPacks.
4) Post your DPs_BASE.log files!

I do have exactly the same problem. sad I noticed that the OEM folder seems to be ok. So I wonder if  this error message will have any effect on the execution?
I tried to slipstream only LAN and WLAN DP.

Can be solved by checking box :
DriverPack MassStorage text mode

Is it sensed to be able to check this box without checking "DriverPack MassStorage 7.01.1" ?

It happened to me right out of the box, on first run. BTW I should mention im using only 3rd party DriverPacks

Also happens to me.

I have tested it with a combination of Chipset, Lan and 3rd party and without any driverpacks and get the error.
