Topic: DriverPacks BASE 7.01.2, DP Graphics A 7.01 and DP MassStorage 7.01!

Lots of updates!

DriverPacks BASE 7.01.2: download and changelog. The highlights are: more updated translations and support for the new DP MassStorage lay-out.

DriverPack Graphics A 7.01: download and changelog. The highlights are: ATI and nVidia 8800 series drivers updated.

DriverPack MassStorage 7.01: download and changelog. The highlights are: all Silicon Image drivers updated, JMicron driver updated and VIA RAID driver updated; the issue with the SiI3112r and SiI3132 controllers is fixed (send "thank you" messages to muiz & ruudboek for that, they've sacrficed an entire weekend!) and the issue with the JMicron controllers is also fixed.


Warning:
- older MassStorage DriverPacks are NOT compatible with the new BASE
- older BASEs are NOT compatible with the new MassStorage
- any DP MassStorage starting from this one will be compatible with every new BASE!

Just testing with the SIS 661 chipset and it looks to be going all the way through.
The old MassStorage would never get this far.

I didn't even get around to post my testing results this time wink (not that there was anything worth noticing...)

According your current announcement, Bâshrat the Sneaky, I can only tell you that I can DL all files absoltely uproblematic!
(even the previous T-Online ISP issues are nonexistant).

The auto update also worked like a charm smile


Just wondering, though, since I couldn't find it in the changelog, has the DP extraction progress bar already been included in this version?

when sil 3132 is active, I no longer get BSOD.
I could not update the onboard chip to a more recent ROM, but it no longer causes a BSOD, and I can use it as storage.

At the moment, I am trying to set up to it, in a RAID array on the SIL 3132.
(using Ruud's latest custom pack, on request)
With a single drive, that did not work, Muiz and Ruud know this, as I was testing Ruud's customised packs.

Pleasant note, with the released version, I did not get BSOD either.

I may have more news in an hour or so..
Glad to see so many issues gone..

I've tested on nForce4-ultra and nForce4 6150 (no RAID on both) : it works ! smile

We did not change anything about the nforce drivers in the new dp masstorage.
We did however remove a driver of which we found out it conflicted with the sil drivers. Maybe this driver conficted with nforce aswell.

I would like to know if the new dp masstorage solved your nforce problems.
Can you tell us what version of the dp masstorage you were using before?

@ruudboek : I was using before DP Mass 6.08 with DP base 6.086.
Yes, The new DP Base 7.012 & Mass 7.01 solved my problem (in my case). Please note that I don't use nvraid, so others have to test ...
However, I can test it on my nf4-6150 with 2 hard disks ... If I have some time, I'll do that tomorrow.

Hi there,
Clould sombody tell me what I am doing wrong as I have followed the links to downlad DriverPacks BASE 7.01.2 from both the Bâshrat the Sneaky first post here and from http://driverpacks.net/ and no download. I end up with a page that seems to require me to login but there is nowhere for me to sign up for a user name and password. Since I have downloaded all of the other driver packs and the post here makes it clear that this is the only version of Base that will work with what I have, then it would help if I can get it.

I never had problems with nforce 3 or 4 (non raid)

downloading from main page works here.. yesterday there were some DNS trouble.
you could also clear your own DNS cache
To clear your DNS cache in Windows XP, at the command prompt enter:

  ipconfig /flushdns

The answer was 42?
