[Nightlies] DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1304-1412 - Public (Page 9 of 12)

A user has found a problem with the D\M\N driver folder
He has a HP TX1320es system with PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0266&CC_0101 which matches to the N folder

When running Easy2Boot+DPMS we get these errors

ERROR: CANNOT FIND /IDECOI4IN.DLL
*** here stops until press ENTER, then i've got some more errors:
ERROR: CANNOT FIND /NVATABUS4IN.SYS
ERROR: CANNOT FIND /IDECOI4IN.DLL
ERROR: CANNOT FIND /NVRAID4IN.SYS
ERROR: CANNOT FIND /NVRAIDCO4IN.DLL
ERROR: CANNOT FIND /NVRAID4IN.INF
ERROR: CANNOT FIND /NVRAID4IN.CAT
ERROR: CANNOT FIND /NVRAID4IN.INF

The problem is that these are not 8.3 filenames and so are not legal for a floppy disk oem F6 disk.

Have these files been renamed and made longer?

What DP_MassStorage version are you using? Because this files are not on the Disc but in the ZIP file which get extrated after the F6 option.

As the Chief noted in the other thread. Never has been an XP x64 pack mass storage or otherwise. there has been extensive debate about it here in the past, if you search a little you will find a LOT of info on that subject.

Please can anybody add the driver for Intel 9-Series chipsets to the DriverPack? Hardware-ID: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_8C82&CC_0106 and PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_8C83&CC_0106. This drivers are part of Fernandos Universal 32bit Intel RST AHCI & RAID driver v11.2.0.1006 mod & signed by Fernando see: here.
I have tested his driver for a PC with Hardware-ID: PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_8C83&CC_0106. It works.

I've used the latest official version, but I can not solve my problem,

I have integrated the last masstorage 1412 in windows xp with Method 2,
if I install from the CD, it installs without problems,
but if I try to install windows xp from WinPE (after copying the I386 and oem folder on the C drive) using the winnt32.exe file during installation me setuporg.exe errors and presetup.cmd etc.
how can I resolve?

in the past I installed windows xp using winnt32.exe with the old version of masstorage

i have a problem with my custom xp installation on a acer aspire 5552 series notebook with integrated masstorage pack DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_1412115.7z

After the textmode drivers finish loading in the first boot of the windows xp setup disc, i got the following error in a blue screen

STOP: C0000221 Unknown Hard Error \SystemRoot\System32\ntdll.dll

i have checked the hard disk and the memory for problems none detected.

Modified Image works on another computer/laptop

also an unmodified image worked on the specific laptop

i don`t have the notebook anymore it was for repair i installed seven and worked fine

i checked everything must be something with the latest masstorage driverpack coz an unmodified image of XP worked

Anyway my main Concern now is how i can put another Older masstorage driverpack to my modified windows ISO manual i don`t want to use a unmodified windows xp ISO i made too many changes that will take me forever to make them again,is it possible? from what i know dpbase changes this three files "winnt.sif / txtsetup.sif / dosnet.inf" and put `s an OEM folder to the root of the iso.if i restore the unmodified version of these three files and delete the OEM folder then can i use dpbase to slipstream the massStorage Drive pack normal? or i`missing something here?

this is the last DriverPack masstorage ( DP_MassStorage_16081.7z ),
who can change it by removing all the drivers for 64-bit systems and all the drivers for Windows XP above?
we only care the drivers for XP, but I do not know modify it to clean it and make it work with dpbase
