Realtek HDA is updated to DriverVer=05/21/2013, 5.10.0.6914 WHQL.
It removes references to a vulnerable app, "skypetel".

Creative SoundFont Synthesizer now installs properly for Audigy2/4 PCMCIA.
Also, Realtek AC'97 will now show as WHQL, and all 64bit catalogs for it are removed.

  Via drivers have had their "fung shui" adjusted for greater harmony!

Well, how about this one instead?     hmm
  It fixes soundfont synth driver install for Audigy 2/4 ZS Notebook.

Re: [Nightlies] DP_Sound_A_wnt5_x86-32_1304-1410 - Public

Thank you, Chief!

That package you list for Realtek(ATi) HDMI doesn't appear to have changed from the listing on the download page.
I did find a new ATi/AMD HDA package in one of the new AMD 7790/R-Series drivers for XP though.
  {DriverVer= 04/23/2013,5.18.0.5515}
    The executable is no longer signed, although the driver appears WHQL'ed.

Now, if only a proper Intel Gen-4 HDA driver could be found (or .Inf modded) and successfully tested to fill that gap....

Got it.  Thank you, Chief.

Wondering if the modified Intel HDMI audio driver works on Gen 4/Haswell.
Need feedback before an updated nightly should be released.

Well, knight1fox3 seems to like it.  I will take that as a positive, unless told otherwise.

@TechDud
So, I saw in another posting you're going back to school - good for you; older students in university can keep the youngsters on track. After my 27+ years in the US Air Force I went back and completed my Masters in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University; 18 months start to finish. Learning is lifelong task.

Re: [Nightlies] DP_Sound_A_wnt5_x86-32_1304-1410 - Public

One man asked me how i thought i scored in today's exam.
  I simply said that i was confident that i had passed.
He responded by saying something like "don't you have an idea what mark you received?"
  To which i retorted, "It matters not, as long as we all passed; that is the goal for me!"

We all received over 85%.  Sadly, i think we may have lost two fellow students before the exam.  I tried to help, yet still feel failure.

That is an impressive education you have, Chief!

Most people in Canada approaching retirement age don't seem to realize that tuition can be free for them.  My electronics teacher was surprised to be reminded of that fact.  Am uncertain of tax implications.

We should be building more schools here in North America than jails and removing barriers to education for those that are financially challenged, IMHO.  For those that care not for any education, not including the learning disabled, i fear for them.  Many that embrace "ignorance is bliss" will have no future, only a past.

Re: [Nightlies] DP_Sound_A_wnt5_x86-32_1304-1410 - Public

Realtek HDA has been updated.     smile

Additional Conexant Sound drivers required a drastic altering of the distribution of folders between the two official packs.
The file sizes have also been drastically altered.
As a consequence, DP_Sound_A_wnt5_x86-32_1401021.7z and later should only be used with DP_Sound_B_wnt5_x86-32_1401021.7z and later.
  The last older revisions of both shall remain here for a time, should anyone need to revert to older packs, they can be used as a pair.
