Topic: The Driverpack freezes after Windows first run

Hello,
I've created an unattended disc using your final databases with all of the recent driver packs.
I've also slipstreamed RyanVM's pack and used some tweaks with the latest Nlite.

The problem lies when Windows finishes it's GUI setup and starts the Driverpack finisher process. That's when the process get stuck, I mean the computer DOESN'T freeze only this process.
The weird part is that when I'm installing it on my old computer, it's okay. I had only this problem when trying to install my unattended cd on my brother's new computer.

Computer Specs.
Windows XP SP2 using all the latest Patches and upgrades.
4 GB of RAM
Abit AW8D motherboard
ATI Radeon x1600

Any Idea ?

It seem to be causing the ATI driver to misbehave. I mean, after I cancel the finisher, everything's okay, but I get an ATI error plus sometimes, when I reboot or install a software I get the BSOD saying BAD_POOL_CALLER

I have/had the same issue. I did Control+Shift+ESC to bring up the Task Manager and ended the task named "setup.exe" instead of the finisher. When you do that, the finisher continues and finishes the rest of the stuff that it does. Unfortunately I deleted my log file already to show what should have been after your last line, but it may be related with your BSOD and other issues.

I believe that if you got an error launching CLI.exe, it has to do with you not having Microsoft .NET Framework installed. I'm not positive about that though. I uninstalled ATI's software (not the drivers) soon after.

Rage321 : I too also pressed the CTRL+ALT+DEL combo to enter the Task Manager and ended the non-working process. It seemed to have worked for a while, but as I mentioned before sometimes, when I rebooted the computer, I got the BAD_POOL_CALLER BSOD. Ending the task temporarily resolves the problem, but I want to know what's causing it and how I can fix it.

I have the exact same problem. The finisher hangs when it installs the CCP Ati control panel.
