This update is too large to still be able to fit all the driverpacks onto one 700mb CD (without the i386/lang folder).

If one would accept that those nvidia 91.28 beta drivers will be installed instead of the non-beta 84.21 drivers, the amount of space saved will be 46mb (removal of dotnet framework included).

I have thought of a few steps that can be taken to modify the new driverpack A and C so that space will be saved, but still full compatibilty with all available graphic cards remains :

1. Extract the DP_Graphics_A_wnt5_x86-32_606.7z to a folder of your choice.
2. Delete 84.21 drivers by removing the CONTENTS of the \D\G\N\1 folder EXCEPT for the T folder ( the T-folder contains the 91.28 beta drivers).
3. Move the contents of the T-folder to \D\G\N\1.
4. Since the 91.28 beta drivers also seems to support the NVIDIA GeForce Go 7800 GTX, the \D\G\N\2 folder can be removed. (this folder contains the forceware 83.40 drivers dedicated to supporting the GeForce Go 7800 GTX only).
5. Remove the Ati dotnet control panel that requires DOTNET. Do this by removing the file D\G\A\1\ATICCC.exe.
6. You can now remove dotnet from your unattended installation, it's no longer needed by the ATI drivers (this will save you 23 mb).
7. Extract the driverpack graphics C to a folder of your choice.
8. Since the 91.28 beta drivers also seems to support the quadro fx 4000 (SDI), 3450 and 4500, you can remove the D\G\N\3 folder.
9. 7Zip the D folders of the extracted driverpack graphics A and C with Ultra compression (archivenames have to be the same as the name of the driverpack graphics A and driverpacks graphics C).
10. Do a new slipstream of the driverpacks, bear in mind to select at "Optional Settings\Other" the option : "Ati Catalyst Control Panel".
11. Done!

-If you remove only a few components with nLite, it will already easily fit. (Did you already remove the upgrade directory already btw?)
-I know the 7800 Go GTX is supported by the other drivers as well, but the one in D\G\N\2 provides WHQL support.
-The 91.28 drivers do not support all Quadro models.

You know that you should only use the DriverPacks you really need, which implies that DriverPack Graphics C would be completely useless for most people.

But yes, ruudboek, as far as I can tell, this procedure should result in a working installation disc.

Effectively 23 mb is gained with these step, 10,5 mb of that is gained because of removing the Ati dotnet control panels. The removal of the non-beta drivers, the NVIDIA GeForce Go 7800 GTX driver and the quadro fx 4000 (SDI), 3450 and 4500 driver are therefore responsible for freeing up only 12,5 mb.
That is hardly worth the hassle.

I think it is probably better to remove only the Ati dotnet control panels (D\G\A\1\ATICCC.exe) and ofcourse the dotnet framework. That should freeup a total of 33,5 mb, which makes the size of the driverpack graphics A,B,C about equal to the old 6.03 driverpacks graphics and should therefore consume about the same amount of  space.

Hey Bashrat...I'd like to know in what way is G A 606 incompatible with older dpbase. Being that new dpbase does not recognize my setup, I'm trying to make my own packs to be backward compatible. I'm just stuck on this one. If you could help out, that'd be neat.

I just created a new CD yesterday and managed to fit all Driver Packs plus all 3rd Party Driver Packs onto an ordinary 700MB CD-RW.

Then, I also integrated all of Sereby's Update Packs (similar to RyanVM, just in German) except for WMP10 addon, which I removed from the CD.

The size of the "nlited" CD is about 350MB, enough to fit a lot of drivers on it smile
Seriously, I don't see how I could ever need any of the removed components, so it's no loss at all for me (would have kicked them out regardless of the DriverPacks).

Now, after DP integration, the ISO I created has a size of ~714MB.

If you use Nero as your burning tool, there's an option to set "short leadout" for a DAO CD. This gains about 12-15MB additional capacity without any negative effects (at least I was unable to find any and I've been using this option for a very long time. Seems to even work with very old CD drives!).

So, if you use my settings as a guide, I'm sure you will have no drouble fitting all the DriverPacks on the CD, moreso if you don't even use the 3rd Party ones!
