Topic: [CLSD] Could you add these drivers to your DriversPack ?

Hi,

First, sorry for my english that is not very good,

The link of the driver is here : Sata & Raid drivers for XP

I don't know how to present it to you, this driver work to boot a Windows installation on a Acer Aspire M3641.

I hope you will be able to manage with that

Thank you very much,

hAqX0ne.

Re: [CLSD] Could you add these drivers to your DriversPack ?

Please post the link to the drivers from the OEM (Acer).  We do not use drivers from 3rd parties in our main packs.
Also please post your DPs_BASE.log so we can be sure it's not already supported.

That's a nVidia SATA Raid {DriverVer=09/11/2007,10.1.0.20}, btw; intended for an MCP73, http://www.nvidia.com/object/mcp_intel_techspecs.html

When speaking of the v11.1.0.43 drivers,

The drivers of these actual Driverpacks are based on the inofficial 15.56 sets, which recently were published by Gigabyte/Asus and natively do support MCP51, MCP61, MCP73, MCP78 and MCP79 chipsets.

You already include these (or better), do you not mr_smartepants?  Wouldn't hAqX0ne simply need to make a DriverPacks-integrated Windows XP Install CD to allow the install of either RAID or AHCI mode to be able to use the 11.1.0.43 drivers?

Ensure to backup any important data, first.

Yes and Yes.
I didn't even bother to download from the link he provided.  That's why I asked for his DPs_BASE.log to make sure he actually used DriverPacks before requesting.

Re: [CLSD] Could you add these drivers to your DriversPack ?

Hi all,

In fact, i already use the latest drivers pack which is now in version 12.03 for the massStorage DriversPack !

But i've looked for the driver i proposed you and didn't see it in the latest version of the massStorage DriversPack.

I'll make a test with a XP SP3 with 12.03 and see if it'll work on an Acer Aspire M3641 !

I'll give you the result of this test.

Thank you for your links.

hAqX0ne.

Clicking your link takes me to a 3rd-party download host with malware.  I'm not clicking anything from that site!
If they're nvidia drivers, then please provide a nvidia.com link or link to an OEM manufacturer site.

Did you see our forum post requesting nvidia testers?
