Topic: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] ALL DriverPack's Repacked

Apparently this thread is now archaic, as the file server has been phased out in favor of the new torrent method and files files can now be found on the main download page

All above listed DriverPacks uploads have completed and are now available at the posted links.
Please, let me know if there are any issues with the DIR structures.

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] ALL DriverPack's Repacked

Well ATM they are compressed with the settings:
7z
Ultra
LZMA
128MB
255

... I didn't know what would produce the smallest files for all the packs, so I just maxxed everything that my sytem would allow.

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] ALL DriverPack's Repacked

Hi,

a BIG Thanks.

The answer was 42?
Kind regards, Jaak.

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] ALL DriverPack's Repacked

don't know which one it is...but with m1 it crashes Base everytime (I am using them all, so whatever one gets called first is causing it to crap out).  As soon as I uncheck 3rd party, works fine.

I haven't had any other complaints, but I will check into it later tonight.

Tested, all packs are processed without a hitch with M1... although the "Additions" pack is processed first, maybe one of the packs is corrupted on your system. Download HashTab, and make sure all the hashes match the ones posted above.

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] ALL DriverPack's Repacked

Nice job Twig123.

I would like to ask if you could add the date to the file so we know when it is changed.

Thanks,

...and the date is already on all of the releases.
In compliance with Bâshrat the Sneaky's 3rd Party DriverPack Standards... the version number IS the release date.

so the version (as stated on each pack) is currently at the moment 6.08.31
...hence translating to 6=2006. 08=August. 31=31st.

WHOOPS

My only excuse is  --  It was a long hard week and I posted the question on a Friday when half asleep.

Thanks for pointing out the date.

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] ALL DriverPack's Repacked

nice work big_smile i have deleted now all the old files and only take urs.

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] ALL DriverPack's Repacked

Is there a list where we can see what devices each pack supports?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

FlyingGleek.

FlyingGleek wrote:

Unfortunatly only a couple are packed with a supported device list, the others were originally compiled by others that did not include a support list...

Wanna make one for us all and contribute to the project? tongue  wink

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] ALL DriverPack's Repacked

The good idea would be to have a tool which browses recursively a 3rd Party root dir, scans INFs files to get driver version, and peripheral name ... then outputs a text file with all info.

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] ALL DriverPack's Repacked

I will try to do it with Autoit. I don´t promise anything because i am not still good in Autoit script, i will do everything what i can. I need an example of how you want the text file and the words that it must look for.

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] ALL DriverPack's Repacked

Great ! smile
You can take any INF file from DriverPacks as an example.

About driver infs :
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/defau … bb.xml.asp

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] ALL DriverPack's Repacked

I put you waht i must do, and tell me if i am right.

1. Map all the files .inf
2. search the word "driverver" or i must search more words?
3. Copy the line which has the Driverver to a text file. Or i have to copy other lines or words?
4. Also copy the path of the file to the text file in order to know to whom the text file belongs

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] ALL DriverPack's Repacked

For *.inf files in all sub-dirs :
1/ In "[Version]" look for : "DriverVer" and "CatalogFile" for WHQL certification.
2/ "[Manufacturer]" section tells what other sections "XYZ" to look into ... then section "XYZ" lists supported hardware.
3/ Export everything in a text file ... or HTML (from a template).

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] ALL DriverPack's Repacked

Please, it would very kind of your part if you put an example to me to illustrate better and undertand it very well, mainly the section of the manufacturer and the the following tasks, and then write all to a text file in order to see how must the text file look like. Do it please as you want the program will do it.
for example the folder:
3rd party DriverPacks\DP_Modem_wnt5_x86-32_60831\D\3\M\A\1

Thanks

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] ALL DriverPack's Repacked

Done! Sry, I wasn't aware of this driverpack so I didn't repack it. Also, I had all the driverpacks DIR's in uppercase... no biggie, but just for unity I think the DIR's should be in all uppercase. But, otherwise Great job on the new release! smile

If anyone else has any further updates on any of the packs just let me know and I will modify the post to reflect the new release smile

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] ALL DriverPack's Repacked

Maybe somebody update DriverPack Input (aka HID): 6.08.31 with the Softpoint 3.1 drivers, because it contains Softpoint 2.6 in DIR"s  LS & LM (MouseWare)?

Hm, that is strange, because I had it on my HDD and it was properly named and had the right folder structure...
And this is the first time I touched it, simply because I saw the release of the new driver on a news site.
I don't have Logitech devices myself so I never bothered with it before wink

Also, I had all the driverpacks DIR's in uppercase... no biggie, but just for unity I think the DIR's should be in all uppercase.

RGR.
Personally, I'm using all lowercaps myself, but that's fine by me.
I guess I only wrote it "Lo" instead of "LO" because the "o" is noseperate syllable.
If we were to use LogiTech (LT), then the T would be uppercase wink
Whatever, not that it's important, just trying to explain how I do this stuff big_smile

Us2002 wrote:

Then it contains the same stuff as the Logitech pack...
I'll look into that.

Re: [REL] [x86, 32 bit] ALL DriverPack's Repacked

Ok, The Input Pack indeed contained both the LogiTech drivers.

Hence, I updated that pack with SetPoint 3.1 and removed the redundant LogiTech pack.

Thanks for the info, if someone has another update for the pack I will make sure it is provided in a new version. However, I am taking an extended weekend and will not be back until Monday. So, that means I will not be able to re-pack the monitor pack in a timely fashion. If you wanted to do it, I will update my links for it.
