Topic: [SLVD] The file atiide.sys could not be found

I used the latest driverpacks to install windows xp sp3 with nlite and driverpacks.net but got the following error message saying

The file atiide.sys could not be found
Press any key to continue

Installation quits from that point and I cannot continue further. I saw a similar post via http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=596 as solved. I had a build 2 years back that doesn't have the problem but this do have problem. Please note that this is from an old backup.

you might have hit the path limit bug... does it still do it if you kill one of the third party DriverPacks?

I removed one third party driver. But didn't solve the problem. I am still getting atiide.sys error message. Let me try to remove another third party driver and see what happens.

Get rid of all the Third Party DriverPacks (especially the monitor one) from your integration.  Use SAD2 for Third Party DriverPacks instead.

Thanks for the brilliant idea. In future I will do that way. That looks better than my way. I started burning the DVD before I see this comment. I have removed one more 3rd party driver and also I clear the driver packs cache. New driverpacks build detected the sata harddrive and started installaing. I will share the results, if it finishes successfully or not.

Thanks a lot for the excellent technical support. Installation was completed successfully. System works fine. All the drivers are (except Acer LCD monitor - G195HQV) installed on atom 230 processor based intel motherboard D945GCLF.
