Which is better, apple pie or rump steak...?
As you cannot install OSX on a PC, that point is really moot.
And if you own a Mac, you might as well install them both.

I am not thinking that is true helmi... I read that Mac OSX was written on a PC and ported to the MAC, which is why it actually runs better on a PC thana MAC.
I have not personally installed MAC os10 myself but that was what i read... So if it was written on a PC it should install on a PC 
.

Well, you *could* install it, given the x86 support in the recent versions, however, Apple made sure that it does not work. There are projects around, that try to achieve this: http://www.osx86project.org/ and you can even buy specific HW to enable it, but Jobs already sued them over it...
Anyway, the main reason is that Apple uses some special kind of EFI on the Macs, that is neither compatible with EFI 1.1 or UEFI, as it can be found on certain MBs already.
As for running better on a PC than a Mac:
Well, as I initially said, both are x86 nowadays, so there's hardly any difference.
Intel supplies the CPUs and chipset, and they are the same as for PCs.
Memory, drives, GFX cards are all PC components.
Basically, it's an overpriced PC in a very stylish case with a BIOS mod that makes it appear special

According to my view , Window 7 is better than mac Snow Leopard...Because window 7 is new generation operating system..
Much more graphical attraction than the Mac snow..Quite effective without extra burden on system....

I think that Mac OS is definitely better than Win 7. First is great stability, second - any device doesn't require complicated setup to work properly. And third - Mac OS is free from viruses so you don't need an anti-virus and you save money and time!

I have got it in my head that these hacks post a certain URL (for example, the first post in this thread) to a site somewhere, Then they have a BOT that attempts to create a login and post to that URL (the bot is programed to attempt to post to a specific thread). I might just be crazy, and it is just a bad theory. It does seem like that is what happens, that certain threads draw most of the spam.

Businesses running 'Mac OS's on their PC's may be reported to their 'Big Brother' now that the Business Software Alliance in Canada is offering cash rewards to people turning in their employers, for their use of 'illegal' software. I wonder how they define the word 'illegal'.

i agree, it is sick; yet that's what's happening on this end. Which OS is better; whichever one is easiest to conform to the License Agreement, perhaps.
