Drivers for XP in the current package DP_WLAN_wnt5_x86-32_1007 there, but not sure that the suit - the folder D\W\Br0\
; X86 - Win9x, Win2K, WinXP
[BROADCOM]
%BCM430N_DeviceDesc% = BCM43XNG20, PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727; Brcm
BCM430N_DeviceDesc = "Broadcom 802.11n Network Adapter"
For other operating systems you will probably need to change the inf-file itself, following this recommendation, the developer now:
; From Windows Server 2003 SP1, Manufacturer requires amd64 declaration
; To differentiate with ia64
; For WinVista and Win7, replace NTamd64 with
; NTx86.6.0, NTamd64.6.0, NTx86.6.1, NTamd64.6.1.
[Manufacturer]
% V_BCM% = BROADCOM, NTamd64
Similar device on ProBook 6455b running XP. Using driver pack WLAN 11.01
PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727&SUBSYS_145C103C
Device shows a yellow circle with an exclamation mark in device manager.
Had to install this driver instead: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/Te … ob-83744-1
Try this, if you are adventurous! PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727 already included by broadcom. You may need to manually override. (Ignore the HP-specific stuff)
