Re: New Drviers Chipset doesnt work with chipset:NVIDIA GeForce8100 Series

That's the wrong DPs_BASE.log.  That's the log file from when you created a SAD disc, no drivers were integrated into your XP disc on that run.
You'll have to look through the log files in \DPs_BASE\LogFiles\ and select the one that has the line:

2011-01-22 14:47:35 : <SEL>  Selected module: mod_slip_wxp_x86-32_disc_m2.

...and we're STILL waiting for you to post your HWIDs using the tool linked in my signature.

Re: New Drviers Chipset doesnt work with chipset:NVIDIA GeForce8100 Series

Yes, nvidia drivers are a real pain! smile
Would you be able to test the packs in this post and report back please?
We really need testers with nvidia hardware.

Re: New Drviers Chipset doesnt work with chipset:NVIDIA GeForce8100 Series

of course m8 i can do test everything on my computer and sister is with nvidia smile but she had integrated graphic chipset but mine is with real card Geforce 8500 GT

BTW i upgraded BIOS on that chipset and now every driverpack install correct, with Windows 7 Ultimate i had same problem with BSOD but now work everything correct smile

Re: New Drviers Chipset doesnt work with chipset:NVIDIA GeForce8100 Series

Yeah, the problem you were having was not with the chipset drivers but with the mass storage drivers (AHCI or RAID).  Updating your BIOS also updated the motherboard RAID controller firmware (which helps).
But we still need to know WHICH nvidia driver works best on each hardware ID.  Your sister's computer is a perfect candidate for these tests.
So, if you can, please configure your motherboard BIOS for either RAID *OR* AHCI, then test all the packs in the other post (18 tests) and report which packs work, and which fail.
The results of your tests may help us fix the dpms currently in release candidate phase! smile
Thank you!

Re: New Drviers Chipset doesnt work with chipset:NVIDIA GeForce8100 Series

for RAID i need 2 hard disks, iv got only one so i can test only AHCI.

Re: New Drviers Chipset doesnt work with chipset:NVIDIA GeForce8100 Series

Not entirely correct.
In order to create a RAID array, yes, you need at least two HDDs.
However, if you switch the controller mode to RAID in the BIOS, it will also work with only one drive connected.
If you do not create an array, it will work the same way as in AHCI mode, however, a different HWID will be assigned to the controller, therefore enforcing the installation of the RAID drivers rather than ordinary AHCI. That way, you can test whether the driver installs correctly w/o losing any functionality over AHCI (it should still be enabled in RAID mode).

Re: New Drviers Chipset doesnt work with chipset:NVIDIA GeForce8100 Series

my AHCI work correct now when i integrated with Nlite software (AHCI was from original website ECS) but i said before in masstorage was missing that stuff for that chipset, i had enabled function in BIOS with AHCI im know what i need to do for use AHCI mode smile im ICT Man and Study ICT in UK smile Last Year in College.

Re: New Drviers Chipset doesnt work with chipset:NVIDIA GeForce8100 Series

So does this mean that you won't be helping us test nvidia drivers?
I was holding back the dpms release because I was hoping to fix one more nvidia bug with your help.  I guess not.
Nlite is years old and is no longer developed.  Although it makes the needed registry hive fixes during driver integration and works fine for adding a handful of specific drivers; but if you use nlite to add drivers and then use DriverPacks BASE to add DriverPacks, then your resulting build will be broken.

Re: New Drviers Chipset doesnt work with chipset:NVIDIA GeForce8100 Series

i just added AHCI Drivers for txtmode thats all that not mean driverpacks will be broken... i would help but my sister got Windows 7 now she dont want any changes... but i can test driverpacks after few days when i get a little bit time.

YES IT WILL!  You're not listening.  If you use Nlite for drivers then you cannot use DriverPacks.  You can't use both in the same disc.
Because you've added drivers with nlite, IF you want to help us test the nvidia mass storage drivers you must start over with a clean XP, slipstream SP3, integrate any updates THEN you can start testing.  The test source must have zero added drivers or the test build will be compromised.
