Topic: [IMPL] ATI Radeon HD 5730 Mobility Driver request For XP

Hello,
I've looked and looked to try to provide a link for this but I just can't find a driver for XP for this model.  It would be fantastic to see it in the driver packs if someone knows how to get it.

Looks to me like ATI is only supporting that chip in Win7 only.  Not XP.
If we did support it, it would be a hack, and probably not stable at all.
I'll see what I can do.
Looking in the catalyst 10.6 beta, your HWID is supported.

That's pretty much what I figured since I kept seeing it available for Win7 but not XP which was a bummer since UBCD4WIN is still XP.  I really appreciate you looking into it.

Hi I too am looking for this driver too on an asus N61JQ-X1

I dont really need to do any fancy 3d work but just get the basic resolutions up and running. any help is greatly appreciated.

So are you saying the DriverPack Graphics A 1009 release does not work for you?  Because that card is supported now.

If you don't know what DriverPack Graphics A is then why are you posting a request for it? neutral
