Mediafire is a decent short term alternative.

SamLab... I am hesitant to add this driver especially after recent security events due to the fact that it's not from a vendor site... Lets see what Erik of Jeff have to say

I trust SamLab... But I am not OK with a third party driver

Re: [REL] DP_Modem_wnt5_x86-32_100714.7z

The moment drivers that are not d/l'd directly from a manufacturers site get used in a pack is the moment a lot of people stop using the packs.

If people want to build their own private packs that's one thing.  It's quite another to distro them from this site.

'Purity of essence' (bonus points for ID-ing the reference) is important when providing tools for people to mod or update operating system images.

This is especially important now that proof of concept for faking digitally signed packages is floating out in the 'net.

I know it's a pretty harsh stance to take, but I believe it's the only one that maintains the credibility of this site and project when compared to 'other sources'.

Re: [REL] DP_Modem_wnt5_x86-32_100714.7z

Agreed.  We need to maintain a strict "chain of custody" rule.  From the manufacturer to us.  Driver warehouses (like station-drivers or others) should only be used WHEN THERE IS NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE.
Digital signatures can be faked, or worse.
We have to remember that our packs are used in enterprise environments as well as for personal use.
The second our DriverPacks become compromised, we loose all credibility from our users.  I, for one, value our integrity above all else.

This driver and inf are already in the pack:
D\3\M\A\44
I did notice the digital signature is different in the pack from the one in the link you provided... are you having a problem? If so does it install manually from that folder?
