Topic: [SOLVED] CAB compression error when DriverPack Sound B called by AutoImage

Hi all

I've had a read through the thread here:

http://forum.driverpacks.net/viewtopic.php?id=431

but I'm still getting the problem - for some reason with the mass_storage devices. And the confusing thing is that I'm not using the MassStorage DriverPack [due to a issue with my HP DX5150 SFFs and a BSOD with that DriverPack].

I've checked that I've got the latest driverpacks - I cant use the Update Checker tho as I'm behind a proxy which you have to put the settings into IE.

I'm using this with AutoImage [the new version of AutoRIS] FYI but RogueSpear says to ask here.... so here I am smile

Here the link to my thread over there: http://www.doitrightconsulting.net/foru … c.php?t=71

I haven't edited any of the settings files manually - that im aware of - so I'm not sure whats going on really hehe

I always seem to get the problems when I need things to work - dont we all eh? lmao

Any ideas / help would be really really helpful smile

Cheers
Nathan.

I assume that RogueSpear's AutoImage proggy creates the .ini on the fly... I'll see if i can pinch what it creates on-the-fly and edit this post and include it smile

EDIT: here it is:

Did you select 'DriverPack MassStorage text mode' in AutoImage?

Re: [SOLVED] CAB compression error when DriverPack Sound B called by AutoImage

nope [hehe I'm dumb sometimes but not that dumb wink tongue]

I didn't, at least, as it is greyed out - i.e. as i dont have the mass storage driverpack in the driverpacks folder it won't let you choose it.

Any ideas?

I can anything else that it can be  :S

Nath

Re: [SOLVED] CAB compression error when DriverPack Sound B called by AutoImage

The setting in the .ini is invalid then. It says "all" while it should be set to "select": because NOT all DriverPacks are selected! I'll notify RogueSpear of this.
