Re: LAN x86
Hi guys,
I have found out that the new Optiplex760 desktops from Dell are not supported with the current Lan driverpacks. (neither x86 nor x64)
The driver missing is from intel and contains those files:
x32:
e1k6032.cat
e1k6032.din
E1k6032.inf
e1k6032.sys
e1qmsg.dll
NicCo26.dll
NicInstQ.dll
x64:
e1k60x64.cat
e1k60x64.din
E1k60x64.inf
e1k60x64.sys
e1qmsg.dll
NicCo26.dll
NicInstQ.dll
Those drivers are included in the latest Intel driverpack:
http://downloadmirror.intel.com/17252/e … s_13_5.zip
Would you mind integrating those please ?
Maybe the zip contains other drivers not yet in the driverpacks ?
Thanks,
Alex
Re: LAN x86
midiboy, thanks as always for your feedback and link to drivers as well. Will add them in next release.
Re: LAN x86
Hi shahed,
no problem. Glad I can help.
One more thing to add to my post above:
Interestingly, the x64 driverfiles needed for the Dell Optiplex 760 are not inside the Intel zip file, the x86 drivers are ?!?
So here is a link to the drivers on the dell site, they are a bit older but contain both the 32 and 64bit versions:
http://ftp.us.dell.com/network/R207259.exe
Bye,
Alex
Re: LAN x86
Hi once again,
I have now found two files on the Intel site that contain both driverfiles, x32 and 64 so no need to download the Dell drivers.
http://downloadmirror.intel.com/12200/a … _v13_5.exe
http://downloadmirror.intel.com/12197/a … _v13_5.exe
Sorry for all those posts above. I guess the last two links contain everything you need.
Bye,
Alex

Re: LAN x86
I'm rather new to this, but why exactly is there a Broadcom 802.11 driver in here? Shouldn't that be in the WAN pack? I was expecting to find Broadcom 57XX lan drivers. Am I missing something?

But thx for letting us know.

Hi !
New driver for Marvell Chipset:
http://www.marvell.com/drivers/driverDi … iverId=206 (x86)
http://www.marvell.com/drivers/driverDi … iverId=207 (x64)
It says that its for Windows 7 but the inf is for Vista/W7 together.

I did some work on updating this pack. It will most likely need to be edited for the HWIDs and whatnot.

Re: LAN x86
mr_smartepants
DISM is reporting errors from VIA 1 and VIA 3 I think there are missing files.
Edit also found Nvidia 1 is missing a file I have it fixed local and will upload sometime today. If you know where VIA 1 and 3 came from I will fix and test those also. When you rebuild the packs do you do a integration with DISM and look at the log? if not how are we testing the packs before we release them? because I never see them in the testing forum ?
Edit 2
Never mind I found the drivers and am updating and testing now.
Edit 3
Fixed pack uploaded to the testing forum

Re: LAN x86
Hello and thanks for this great resource. I noticed that the NDIS 5.1 Broadcom driver in the Broadcom\3 directory seems to be an XP driver (from the comment header in the inf and also dpinst is refusing to install it on my target Win7 system as it complains it is for the wrong OS), but it is in the 10.03 Vista x86 DriverPack. Thanks!
