Topic: Can't select driverpacks

No matter what I try I cannot get the driverpacks to display - they are only there in shadow and not available for selection.  All the downloaded driver files are extracted to the DriverPack folder and the Base seems to work ok - all except the driverpacks.  I am using Nlite to slipstream my windows and this is in the same folder.  I am not really a techy but neither am I a slouch to computing so any help would be appreciated. Re: Can't select driverpacks

Do not extract the DriverPacks!  Leave them as .7z files and put them in the "Driverpacks" folder as explained in the tutorial.
You did read the tutorial...right? wink

Re: Can't select driverpacks

Yeah ok, its a fair cop I hadn't read the tutorial.  I am actually following an article in PC World magazine(Nov 2008) and it didn't make it clear that the driverpack files should be moved in their .7z state.  Tutorials from now on!!!

Many thanks it works fine now

In any case, we should drop them an email hinting that they'd best read the tut themselves before they go about telling others how to use the DriverPacks wink

It would only help making their readers understand...

Nice to hear about having made it into a printed paper mag, though!
