Topic: Mothode 2 and $OEM$ folder problem

Hi, I have the following problem:

If I choose slipstream "methode 2", the $OEM$ folder on my CD is not correctly copied:

The RunOnceEx script in this folder is running correctly but the subfolder $1 and $$ will not copied to my systemdrive. So the setups in my RunOnceEx script are not running.

I use the DPs_BASE version 8.05.
OemPreinstall is set to yes in winnt.sys

What can I do? Please help!

Re: Mothode 2 and $OEM$ folder problem

Well i don't recommend that you use KTD... SoFI (the feature formerly known as SAD) makes KTD obsolete

second your source seems to be corrupted it said that M1 was removed but txtsetup.ORG was not found...

that means you have garbage...  assuming you installed DriverPack MassStorage previously
please start over with a clean source

Remember DriverPacks is always the LAST step in your process of modifying the OS files
(its OK to update the  cmdlines.txt file or whatever just not the files in the I386 folder)
