Topic: xifi thx panel etc.

Hi, this is the first time I integrated sound, the problem I have is as follows.

Sound works, I have the very basic audio console which allows changing of most settings.

However I think 2 important panels are missing, the one which allows you to test speakers and thx, I think thx has integrated speaker test so really just 1 panel.

The thx has the bass redirect and amplified sound settings which I use.

The situation is to install these apps you have to go back to the original cd which then rolls you back to the 1st driver which defeats the purpose of integrating the sound driver in the first place.

Is it possible to integrate the thx driver into the sound pack?

You didn't mention it, so we don't know.  Did you mean the Creative XFi?  If so, we need to know lots of details you didn't mention.

Also, did you try installing the latest drivers from Creative.com? (assuming you're talking about the XFi, which you didn't mention.)

Additionally, the team spent a LOT of time (maybe 100 man-hours?) making sure this dp worked perfect.  Yours is the first report out of thousands of downloads.
Personally, I've had major problems getting the latest creative drivers into our DriverPacks.  I've all but given up on this latest batch.

is no problem if its diffilcult.

yes is a creative xifi, the utility typically isnt installed as part of drivers but of the driver cd.

However if running the driver cd it forces the installation of the older driver.
