we need a few details please...
see Read Before you post in my sig for details on what details we need
for example what base and sound pack versions are you useing ? version #s please
and it would be equally important to include your HWIDs with a [REQ]uest to add a driver
again see my signature to get the hwids...
thanks for posting
I'm actually debating getting this same card (with the AV100 chip) for my own rig.
I'm fed up with creative's (uncreative) drivers and I'm jumping ship.
This asus card is getting to be fairly mainstream so it'll probably go nicely in S_A.
I'll look into it.
Can you try this DP as a test?

Thanks a lot for the testpack. I ve just created
a new CD with your testpack and it works perfect.
Again, thanks a lot
Great news! You have no idea how happy that makes me!
All we need is confirmed successful tests with RealTek and Via sound chips and we can release this puppy!
I can confirm Realtek worked fine for me.
I can probably find a VIA MB with VIA Sound in my old stuff.
Will wait until tomorrow so I can create a DVD with the latest nightlies.
I can confirm Realtek worked fine for me.
Yes, but you confirmed \R2\ right? I need someone to confirm \R1\ and \R3 (HDMI port).
I can run tests tonight on my notebook to confirm \R1\
And I still need to prune the S_A .infs to remove any "Super-Generic" HWIDs before we can finalize.
I can confirm \R1\ works great on my notebook.
Can anyone confirm the V*\ series updates work on Via hardware?
I'm going to start pruning the .infs to remove duplicate HWIDs. We may have one more test to run before final!
Wow, I can't believe how much x64 crap is in there!

I just ordered my own Xonar DX ($53 shipped)!
PCI Express version.
Can't wait to try it out.
