U.S. Robotics USR2210, USR2215, USR2216 PCMCIA b 02/25/2003, 3.0.0.0 U2

I have the USR2216 and it doesn't install correctly. I tried a manual install using the inf in the U2 folder and got "An error occurred during the installation of the device. A something(?) installation in this INF is invalid."

I would post the BASE log but it was overwritten when I opened BASE hmm (The log files should be backed up, not overwritten in a future BASE tongue)

you can also rename logfiles before you run DriverPacks BASE wink

The answer was 42?

this sounds like it is a problem with the installer..

submit your "feature request" in that forum - i will consider adding it especialy if someone 'seconds' the idea.

Since our regulars are aware of this, no one has ever found (i should say reported) it to be a problem. But it may help us help the noobs...

Used the installer and it installed fine. So I guess you have to use the installer?
