it corupted my local copy

It mentioned something about conflicts brought up a merge window i made my selections and commited them and afterwards my local copy was overwritten by the remote version.

I was quite upset about it. In fact i put the whole mess on the back burner for over a week now...

there is a copy of rc2 under "branches" since i was not able to make a copy normaly...

i am considering useing another brand other than tortois svn i said it was 20 hours
but it may be more like 30 hours that got flushed.

Since i am the only one useing it there should not have been anything to merge... therefore it is blown up somehow.

I feel like a moron.
When I look back at what I threw at RC2 in Method 1, it shows I never tried to do any third party in M1.

hmmm, RC2, six third party, method 1, QSC ON, and it worked.

I will add more, maybe there is a rogue name 3rd party DP or maybe it won't do more than ten 3rd party DriverPacks.

Sorry i have been in the middle of a startup installation in a new office space includeing phone system, pc's and drops
on the upside i did not have to clean up a lot of existing garbage.

strange that it works in some instances and not others.

Later that day I used it with 16 third party, RC2, method 1, QSC ON (like the poster), and it still worked.
I will do this with a clean base INI, because that was what the poster had.

The answer was 42?

I always desactivate QSC...

3rd driversparck never work for me with RC2 and others version !!

THANKS for pointing out you turned QSC OFF.
(the logs did not make that obvious.. the INI would have told us).

Come to think of it, I used so many variations and because I had not used third party, this did not show a month ago.. I really feel like a moron.

Abdou, you helped us locating a bug..
(I was telling people to turn QSC ON for many months but I had no idea that third party was also triggering a critical error. Now we know it does.)

I tried using KTD and selecting specific packs to keep (I usually just have it keep all of them). During the DPFinisher I got several errors about missing directories. I don't have any problems when I keep all the drivers.

Probably a faux pas, but any idea when an RC3 will be coming out?

in as much as SP3 is being released so will the RC for base
that was its main function was to support xp sp3.

there is a lot more i have been working on in the code but little of it will be seen.
i fixed the proxy problem and streamlined the uninstall routines (prep stage).
and have further modularized routines.

the finisher issue is related to the fact we have been rearanging all of the packs folder structures.
the finisher uses hard coded folders. that needs to be addressed still.

Just a minor GUI bug (held over from 7.05.2).

If you select "Custom" Finisher method, when you get to the settings review page it shows that you have selected "GUI RunOnce" Finisher method.
